JPL (nu Philip) was Mimi’s real life boyfriend. She was on the reality show Dirty Soap (Original Belle, Rafe and Chloe were also on it) WHile on show, she had surgery adn he treated her like c*ap!. All he cared about was himself. Not sure if it was really real or part of the show plot, but he was terrible to her during the whols show. He wasnted to move and it was all about whatever was best for him Needless to say they broke up and she married someone else.
Ever since then I just can’t take him at all. Besides, I really like Jay as Philip, he was nicer and loved his dimples.
When you see how some people are in real life, it can change your opinion of them. I watched Dirty Soap and my take was I really disliked him, his mother and Nadia’s mother. I found Galen’s wife to be a whiner, for no reason and Brandon Beemer was a sweetheart. He put up with a lot of crap from Nadia’s mother.

behind closed doors, but from articles I’ve read about Farah Fath, she was no day at the beach either. From what I read about her, she is a very belligerent individual as well. As a matter of fact, she was probably just as bad, and they were a very incompatible couple who probably never should have been together in the first place. Like I said, though, these are things I’ve read about her, not things that I know about her since I don’t know her personally, or him either for that matter.
Those "reality" shows are anything but. While not scripted, they do promote certain storylines to keep audiences interested. Drama and conflict are a staple in these shows and if there isn’t any it will be manufactured. I think that show was set to be a snooze until Nadia’s mom pretty much stole the show with her horrible attitude. JPL seemed to be cast as a villain as well. I wouldn’t put much stock in any reality show. It does say something about the person who agrees to do a show like that though. Often once the editing is done you won’t believe how bad they can make you look. These showbiz vets should have known better.
I know the President of the Wildlife Center of Virginia and they used to have a show on The Animal Planet called “Wildlife ER.” He said, after a while they came to him wanting him to reshoot scenes to make them more dramatic, like falling out of a boat during a rescue or having an accident and things like that. When he refused, they cancelled the show. I guess that is pretty commonplace with all reality shows. One of the worst (I’m told) is “Survivor.”
