Where did this guy come from? How did everyone feel about this portrayal as the devastated husband proclaiming his love? Maybe if they had shown flashbacks to Madison and Ian’s beginning – some depiction of affection – I could better believe it. All I recall Madison saying was how he was tough on her and made her the savvy busineswoman.
I do say it was refreshing to see Ian so vulnerable.
Now how will Kate use this info?But I have a hard time believing someone would be sitting there pouring their heart out, saying what he did, to someone unconscious.
I did feel bad for Madison. I was so happy that her last words were "Brady….. I love you." I was even happier when I saw Kate standing there, taking it all in, how he never loved her, and that he only was with her to get his hands on the DiMera fortune. If Ian goes completely insane, it will serve him right. Remember, he was drunk as a skunk when he was spouting sonnets and professing his love to Madison, and you know what they say about a drunken mind speaks the truth. But, brother, you don’t know what you’re going to have to face when you sober up ….. not merely Madison’s death, but the wrath of Kate DiMera, who has always claimed revenge is a dish best served cold. I have a feeling you are going to be experiencing the freeze zone very soon, like in a morgue drawer. That would be the only fitting scene for your departure.
Great show, worth waiting for.
