OMG can’t believe I’m actually saying this but I actually felt sorry for EJ and stefano, more so for EJ but you could see how much his fatha disowning him killed ej. And little Johnny and sydney are out of the family too.
I for one do not feel sorry for EJ, not one little bit. He tried to upstage his father early on, taking over Di Mera enterprises, so he was never faithful to his father.
Also he threw out Nicole and Sydney when he thought she was not her daughter, so what goes around comes around.
I know yoii are 100% correct on that, I just thought they were really emotional scenes from two people that are usually heartless. It also kills me when they talk about how much steffy loved Tony. Please! he threw him on a deserted island for 20 years!
i kept thinking about sydney, too, during that discussion. i know that sydney was a baby, but he had bonded with her and never seemed to care that he threw her out.
Come on, EJ has lived so long with Stefano, what difference does it make he’s not his "blood" son? All that crap about only trusting a son who has the Dimera blood is a bunch of whooie. Can you imagine if all adoptive parents acted like that? There’d certainly be a plethora of miserable kids in this world.
Stefano’s father looked exactly like E.J. Remember the flashback scenes with him and Colleen (Sami) a few years ago? Maybe Alice was mistaken and E.J. really is Stefano’s son and then Stefano finds out only after he completely disowns E.J.
I’m still thinking Rolf had gotten John’s sperm and used that to implant Susan. That would still make EJ a DiMera since John and Stefano have the same father and it would explain the close resemblance between EJ and Santo, his grandfather.
Ej looks nothing like stefano, and did look exactly like grandpa dimera, wouldn’t it be a twist if Stefano was the one that wasn’t a dimera!!!! that would be the ultimate thing to bring him down, or have a heart attack hearing this. Then he could be the one that looses it all. This is merely a thought in my head. Not a spoiler.
in real life it is the bonding time and not the blood lines that makes our loved ones dear. many people love their step children as birth children but this is for the story I guess. So if EJ is not a Dimera he will be nice now LOL
Also you can’t go on who looks like who when it it actors and whoever the current writer was at the time stories were being played . I have always wondered why they never brought Eric Brady to the show. Marlena had twins then one disappeared with just a mention every few years.
they’d be more likely to bring back someone like Eric rather than bring on a new character like Cameron. However, I’ve read that writers get paid for THEIR characters, not those of prior writers. I don’t know how that works but it could explain why we see new people rather than bringing back the old.
Personally, I like to see the old characters (played by the same actor(s) as before) return occasionally. It makes it more realistic.
I think the ONLY good thing about this whole mess is that we get to see Shane soon!!! I’ll have to check dayscafe to see when he’s on and for how long.
The Stefano I saw 20-some years ago was not this shallow. Oh sure, bloodline was important, but conviction was the key. EJ has that conviction and Stefano knows it. And these are the things we are supposed to believe are the reasons why Stefano is hurting so much…EJ had such promise but the blood just isn’t there. Pitiful!
I have always liked Stefano. Even though he was bad, he still had loyalty and in the early days, never killed anyone. He would just lock them away. I cannot believe what they have done to him. Is he really going to be ellimated?
My hope is that he feels that the ISA is closing in on him and he is pushing EJ aside to protect him from any fallout. Especailly now that he is mayor, it is important to distanced himself from the famliy. IF this is true (just my guess), that would redeem Stefano in my eyes. I really hope that he did not want the safe house people killed. I cannot believe that Stefano would order Marlena’s death.
