Once again they have the actor to put it out there, not the character, the actor, George DelHoyo first appeared as Orpheus a year after Miranda had left the role of Megan Hathaway & the writers of this show had Orpheus to bring up to John & Steve of another DiMera having the orchid, when he had no clue she was a DiMera, given that she had left a year before he appeared. The same way that had Zach Tinker playing Zach Tinker, his character of Sonny Kiriakis had told Victor of Leo’s vengeance, Victor being aware of what Leo did to Titan, but they had the character to jump to conclusions as to where the cookies came from, after he had seen who had brought the gift basket. That’s problematic, don’t you think?
I know that Days & Y&R are totally different shows, but still, on Days, the character of Sonny K, came out of the closet at age 15, they masterfully played out Will’s coming out fantastically, then what do they do, they refuse to show the coming out of Allie Horton, Chanel DuPree & Fenmore Baldwin, three LGBT characters that they never shown their coming out the way they did DOOL’s Will. Don’t you think that sends the right message?
