I’m so mad, PR is on the same time as two other shows I like so I can’t record it. Last year it was shown a couple days later on another channel but I can’t remember where or when. Does anybody know if they’ll do it again this year and, if so, where and when?
Also, a friend’s daughter is on this year’s Next Great Baker, it’s a spin-off of Cake Boss. It was really good last year and the winner gets a job at Buddy’s bakery. But I don’t know when this one is on either. Am I pathetic or what?

Her older sister just gave me a $900 Barbara Bui purse that her husband won in a contest at work. She didn’t want it because it was too big. I told her to sell it on eBay but she insisted I have it. I have NEVER in my life had a designer purse. I won’t know what to do with it. I’ll probably walk around holding it out so everybody can see the name. I’ve never heard of her but, again, what do I know? I’ve never paid more than $35 for a purse in my life.

Great news on PR Bonbon! I just looked at my TV listings on my TV (I’d be lost without this!) to see when PR will be shown again. According to my tv listings (which are usually correct), tonight’s show will be shown again on Lifetime on: Friday, Aug. 5 from 1-2:30 AM (which is tonight really) ; and Saturday, Aug. 6 from 11:30 am-1:00 pm. I had a feeling it would be on later tonight as a lot of these cable shows will usually show the episode in the middle of the night and then at least a few more times in the next week. My newest addiction is the show "Dance Moms" on Lifetime I think. It’s a show I never thought I’d be interested in but it captivates me.
I love PR!!! I am so looking forward to tonight’s episode. I won’t watch it but I will record it and watch it tomorrow sometime. What these designers do is amazing. After watching only the first episode of the new season, I am already hooked!!!

for Christmas one year. I saw the amount in the checkbook and was sure I was getting a breadmaker [which I wanted]! When I opened the package and saw a purse I was stunned. I couldn’t believe he would spend that much on a purse! I was afraid to put it on the floor anywhere for fear of getting the bottom dirty – especially in a movie theater because the purse cost more than the contents inside! I’m not one to carry multiple purses so it actually served me quite well. Now I’m on my second one in probably 20 years! I do have a small Coach that my daughter-in-law found at a thrift shop really cheap (like 2 bucks). That one holds a kleenex, credit card, a couple dollars, my contact solution and drivers license for a concert or ballet or somewhere like that. It’s pretty tiny!
Okay, I realize the guy was close to his mother and it was the second anniversary of her passing. But Josh has been bullyish the entire season, fueled by a hefty dose of arrogant narcissism.
He and Bert are like water and oil. Michael called it right, he is a bully, plain and simple. And can he be more flaming? OMG! Bert is gay too but at least he acts like a normal human being.
I’ve started watching Dance Moms too. OMG, could there be any more disfunctional people? Even Abby is crazy. She wouldn’t talk like that to MY daughter. It’s sinful the way she pits those girls against each other. And the way she talks to the mothers!!! I don’t care how good she is, I’d yank my daughter out of there faster than you can say plie.
I can’t wait to see when Kathy brings her group in there to compete with them in Los Angeles. Although I can’t stand her either, it’ll be interesting to see the two of them clash. (You know, I don’t think any of those kids have any bones…it’s amazing what they can do.)
What has this world come to when I am reduced to watching this stuff? :o)
You’re right Bonbon! They are all crazy! I think the mothers on Dance Moms are crazier than Abby though. There are two mothers in particular who seem like big drinkers (the one with bleach blonde hair and the one with very short hair). Every single time they are anywhere other than the dance studio, they have to have alcohol even when their kids are around. Total boozehounds in my opinion. I don’t know if you saw the episode where all the mothers and the kids were at Abby’s house. The girls were in the pool swimming as the mothers were mixing drinks.
Kathy seems to be the whackiest of the bunch. Her and her "Vivy"!!!! That poor little girl. I wonder though how much of this show is scripted?
