What did you think of Sanjia’s elimination? I was pretty shocked. Before the elimination, Heidi said to her that she has been inconsistent. I completely disagree as she has been one of the most consistent designers and has often been in the top. I think Melissa should have been eliminated. I think Sanjia’s a better designer.
I was soooooo happy for Chris and Dmitry! And I’m glad that Fabio made it as well. Now I know that somebody else will be eliminated on Thursday’s episode, after the judges see each collection, and I hope it’s Melissa, unless another designer does an absolutely horrible collection. But often, an outfit that I like, the judges don’t, and vice versa. I like Melissa but I don’t think she should be in the final three. The other designers have been overall very good all season.

Who do you think they should have in the next All Stars season?
October 10, 2012 at 1:25 pm #35823MKParticipantIt’s hard to pick who should be in the next all stars because I usually forget most of the people who’ve been on it. But off the top of my head, I would like to see Ven again and that older guy from a couple seasons back (think his name is Bert). And also Michael Costello, Anthony (the black guy with a ton of personality) from season 7?, and Sanjia.
Who would you pick?
October 10, 2012 at 1:30 pm #35824MKParticipantI guess if Ven was on the show again, he would have to be edgier and think outside the box. But I have to laugh at that a bit because if a designer does do something edgier or something that’s not really them, the judges will say "oh that isn’t you" or "I can’t see your point of view" but if they play it safe, the designer is boring.
I also always laugh at the judges saying that the designer’s piece of clothing needs to tell a story. What does that even mean? I buy what I like, not because it’s telling me a story and not because I can see a particular designer’s point of view. Pulease!
October 10, 2012 at 1:42 pm #35826BonbonParticipantthese people are supposed to be designing haute coutour and not retail clothing. A couple of times they had episodes that they were looking for commercial quality but, on the whole, I think their main thrust is the haute coutour runway look. (Although I’ve never heard clothing "tell a story" before.) :o)
October 10, 2012 at 1:46 pm #35827BonbonParticipantwith them all. But I have the same problem remembering names, etc.
The last guy that got kicked off, the really flamboyant guy, can’t remember his name. I didn’t like him at first but he grew on me. I’d like to see him come back also. Oh, it was Gunnar.
