Last night was a major reason I felt the team concept was in error.
Patricia had the lowest score, yet because she was part of the team with the top scores she got to stay.
And that outift she dared to send down the runway looked like something I would have made in High School Homec class. Utterly cheap and awful!March 1, 2013 at 2:32 pm #38230MKParticipantI haven’t watched it yet but who got the boot?
March 1, 2013 at 2:58 pm #38233bluebonnetParticipantHis outfit was awful, as was Amanda’s and Patricia’s. I’m tiring of the teams, too, and hope that they don’t keep them the whole time. I liked the models they had last night, though!
March 1, 2013 at 3:16 pm #38236MKParticipantThanks for the info, bluebonnet! I will watch it tonight or tomorrow but I just don’t look forward to watching it like I used to, probably because of the team concept.
March 1, 2013 at 6:02 pm #38245BonbonParticipantI thought the only decent one was the winner. Although I hated to see Benjamin go even tho his dress wasn’t that great. He seemed to be a very nice guy. I’d much rather have Patricia go. Her outfit was terrible and IMO, the absolute worst. I liked it better before she changed it.
I didn’t really see any reasoning in the team concept for last night. They didn’t have anything to do with each other.

I don’t think Stanley had a choice in who his model was (I missed that part), but he got the woman who probably was proportioned most like a model, hence it was easier for him to design something. I wondered when they took measurements of these women because you definitely couldn’t just start to sew without having that information. I guess they cut alot of that stuff out. I hated that woman’s hair hanging in her face and I thought the dress they "all wanted" looked terribly frumpy (one color in the front, black in the back, with the racing stripe) It needed taken in or something. Fit was pretty awful on most of them. Michelle’s model really gave it all it was worth and the dress looked cute on her. Initially I didn’t like Kate’s outfit, after looking at a picture online, it was cute. Richard’s turqoise one looked very dated and didn’t fit great, but I thought others were uglier.
March 1, 2013 at 8:10 pm #38260BonbonParticipantThey apparently went over time and my DVR didn’t catch who was booted. Fortunately it was at the beginning this week. I hate that and it does it to so many show, both cable and network. Don’t they realize how many people record programs these days? Why can’t they keep to the schedule? I’ve programmed in several shows to go past the time but so often it then interferrs with something that’s beginning on time on another station. Anyone else have that problem?
March 4, 2013 at 2:30 pm #38304MKParticipantI think Amanda should have gone home. Her dress was frumpy, ill-fitted, poorly constructed, and you could tell the model didn’t like it. At least Benjamin’s model loved her look and really stood up for Benjamin. She was so cute! Heidi said the outfit was really tight but it was much better than Amanda’s. Probably kept Amanda for drama. Benjamin should not have gone home on this challenge.
