Oh my gosh! I just finished watching last night’s episode of PR. I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes. I know it was a hard challenge for them (but fun challenge for me!) but I could not stop laughing at the runway show at the ill-fitting suits. Even the designers were really laughing, and when Nina could not stop laughing, that was the best. Wonder why both teams did suits?

No wonder there were no winners. I can’t believe they all did so badly. Like Zak said, a man’s shirt isn’t that different from a woman’s. It was almost like they were all trying to make the worst outfit and, even at that, I couldn’t have picked the worst either.
Since I read you post before I watched I paid close attention and they specifically said suits to both teams so that did kind of limit what they could do. But if you’ve ever seen a man’s suit jacket made, you’d know doing in one day would be very difficult. There are a gazillion pieces to one. There are facings, inter-facings, lining, etc.
I got a feeling we’re going to be seeing plus sizes next week.

March 16, 2013 at 3:05 pm #38646bluebonnetParticipanta little too ambitious for the designers. Making men’s clothes is one thing, but then the designers had to make three outfits AND the clothes had to be stretchy and breakaway AND they had to be some sort of suit AND they had to get it all done in one day. I don’t see how the judges expected to see much of anything with those strict requirements.

March 16, 2013 at 5:15 pm #38654BonbonParticipantThose outfits were SOOOOO atrocious! I can understand having no winner. In fact, they should have all been sent home. That is probably the number one worst episode I have seen in the four years I’ve been watching this show. In the words of Susan, it was bad, bad, bad!
I am a little skeptical about that episode. I don’t believe that many supposedly talented designers could have done such horrible work unless it was intentional. I’m afraid my skepticism is rearing its ugly head again. Could the producers have required them to do that?
