Bonbon, don’t forget that Project Runway finale starts tonight. I think tonight is Part I and next week is Part II. I would like to see Anya win. My second choice would be Viktor. Maybe my opinion will change once I see tonight’s episode (which I won’t watch until tomorrow or Saturday).
So Anya, Viktor, Josh and Kimberly are all in the finals. Do you know if they will eliminate one tonight and have three compete on the runway? They usually have three compete but maybe all four will.

I think all four of them will be at Fashion Week this time. I can’t wait to see what they come up with once they have more time for their creations.
Gawd, how I’d love to go to Mood. What a fabulous place. It looks like they have everything there is to have in the way of sewing materials. I’d feel like I’d died and gone to heaven!!!

October 21, 2011 at 11:31 am #27843BonbonParticipantI was sure Anya was going to win but she really blew it last night. In fact, I wasn’t thrilled with hardly any of the three outfits each made. Kimberly’s long black dress was probably the best of them all.
So, now, it looks like you’re probably right, it’ll be Viktor.

I actually felt it was kind of unfair to the others because Anya clearly was in a slump and had to pull off her collection (like always) at the last minute. Her outfits looked totally sloppy and what was with that pathetic swimsuit – she should have been sent packing. But likely will step it up at the end.October 24, 2011 at 10:35 pm #27926annieoParticipanthttp://bloggingprojectrunway.blogspot.com/
There’s a place to click at the top of the website where it shows the designers that showed at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in early Sept. Burt, Olivier, Anthony and Laura were all there in addition to the four finalists. It does not say who won. What I can’t understand is why this is showing on line when the show is not done until this week. So I guess if you don’t want to see anyone’s final collection, don’t look at it. But how did Burt, Olivier, Anthony and Laura get to show? I guess you don’t have to be part of Project Runway to get a place in the fashion week line-up. However, I really didn’t like much of anyone’s clothes. Seems like in past years, one designer stood out among all the others. This year no one has really captured my attention, except maybe Viktor. Anya does a good job, but I’m not sure how anyone who’s only learned to sew can keep up with the competion. Her designs on this website are much prettier than the three she showed last week. And you can also see how the contestants took what the judges said to heart regarding shoes, jewelry, etc. Still, some of the clothes are just ugly – Olivier’s esp.
October 28, 2011 at 2:24 am #28073bluebonnetParticipantmany Project Runway designers present collections, but only four compete so that the public won’t know who the final four are. After all, Fashion Week was several months ago.
October 28, 2011 at 3:03 pm #28089caseyParticipantbut I wouldn’t have chosen Anya’s collection. Her first dress was killer but the rest for me were all too much the same, too simplistic. The judges kept praising Anya for being the “prints queen” but there’s a heck of a lot more to fashion than that. I thought all 3 were superior, though Viktor’s 4 black chiffons were too much and I agree, it was as if he had two collections. Was surprisingly impressed with Kimberly and I probably would have chosen Josh.
October 29, 2011 at 12:07 pm #28127BonbonParticipantI guessed right for a change. Boy, what a difference their collections were from the peview of the first three. I wonder if that was done on purpose just to make the clothes they showen in the finale better. I would have had a terrible time selecting the winner, I thought they all did fabulous creations. If I had to pick one favorite it would have been Viktor’s white jacket with the pearls on. That was outstanding.
Now I have to start watching the accessories one that came on right after although I missed the first one because I didn’t record it. But I’m sure that won’t make any difference.
I’d like to get into that stuff myself but it takes so darn much money just to buy all the raw materials to make anything at all. Guess I’ll just have to watch the show and live vicariously through those people.
