    So EJ says he’s going to take down Daddy-o. The prospect could offer some juicy high drama if EJ returns to his nasty ways and Stef acts like the mafioso he’s supposed to be. But will it? We’ve suffered through so many lame SLs with endless dragging and no payoff that so far I can’t get excited.

    If Joe is ready to retire, I think EJ will pull it off and then they will position him as the new baddie.  That leaves Sami in an awkward spot.

    working with him against Stefano. More of a Kiriakis v. DiMera development in the making. Hope it doesn’t cause problems for Justin and Adrienne, though, since she makes no bones about her hate for E.J., and just knowing Justin might be teaming up with him to take down Stefano could cause them a lot of problems. Actually, I’m looking forward to this s/l, if that’s where it’s going.

     Joe is in his 80s now and probably doesn’t want to work forever.  Although it seems like people on Days never seen to want to quit.
