Question about filming scenes – Salem Place

So EJ has been shown all bloodied up for the past few days. How long does it take to shoot those scenes? What I’m really wondering is how long James had to wear all of that goopy stuff? It has to be super sticky.

I’m sure a lot of it is "peel and stick" like so many make-up artists use today.

They usually tape two or three episodes of scenes on a certain set (in this case, the EJ’s Clinic Room set) on the same day.

Plus, James might also have to do scenes on the same day for a different episode, so for a portion of the day, he’d be without the "blood" on.
