ParticipantThe racy scenes continue with Madison and Brady at the spa. The writers are sadly mistaken if they think we are interested in these kind of scenes.

ParticipantI agree. I really don’t like to see such graphic or overly sexual scenes. When my kids come in the room and I have to mute it or turn it, then it’s too much!

Participantand I’m not easily made uncomfortable.

ParticipantI agree too, it has really been way over the top with sexually explicit scenes for a while now. It’s not entertaining, it’s gross. IMHO.

ParticipantWhat did I miss? Or do I even want to know?
January 14, 2012 at 12:27 pm #30424Bonbon
Participantas they were more suggestive than explicit, ‘nother words, we didn’t see the actual huffin’ and puffin’ but just the before and after. Although I really can’t see two executives "doing it" in a place like that. That’s pretty tacky if you ask me.
But the Rafe and Carrie debacle was so in-your-face as to make me uncomfortable. I wanted to scream at them, "Put your clothes on you idiots and get out of there and go someplace cooler!"

ParticipantThis show all of a sudden took a turn for the worse. Please go back to writing. It’s like they hired some temporary writers who only had experience in the porn industry.

Participantfans want to see. I’d say yes, it can almost be compared to soft porn. What does it say to me? It says that either Ken Corday doesn’t know the difference between soft porn and pure romance (which he promised to return to), or he’s just a horny old dog himself who likes to watch this kind of suggestive madness because he thinks it’s entertaining. There are ways to express a beautiful, romantic scene without dropping your robes in a public spa’s couples massage session (love when Quinn just walked in on them), or disgustingly lusting after your brother/sister-in-law’s partially naked body in an over-heated room they could have easily walked out of and worked from home. Someone’s confused, and it’s not me.

ParticipantBelieve me, you don’t want to know we all basically found it disgusting

ParticipantI kind of agree with you about the spa scenes bonbon, except for the very beginning when she was moaning and groaning , I thought it was Nicole at first. I still wouldnt make love in a public place like that which probably had security cameras.

ParticipantAt first I thought it was Nicole on the massage table and that she was talking to E.J. in VERY suggestive words. Did anyone else hear what she was saying? I won’t repeat it.
These writers seem to think that the more sensationalism and sexual scenes the better. I’m tired of every couple kissing and kissing, especially in public all the time.

Participantto return to the ol’ glory days and kept pointing out how important family was. This latest serving of “afternoon delight” (anyone remember that song by the Starland Vocal Band?!) is not my idea of good writing and drama. In fact, it’s lazy writing and slumming it as far as I’m concerned.
Seems like KC is falling into the “sex sells” trap, but I don’t think that’s what the Days audience is after.January 14, 2012 at 10:52 pm #30447MoGirl
ParticipantI couldn’t get over the sitting there in a slip and being so hot. It is winter so open a window or leave it is not like they had work to do.
I also find it tacky to be making eyes at your brother/sister in law. turns me off totally
January 15, 2012 at 5:55 am #30451justwondering
ParticipantI think that it was a sleeveless red blouse, although don’t know why she would have it on in the winter. I really didn’t like that scene at all.
But I thought the "message scene" between Madison and Brady was far worse. How unprofessional can two people get!!! Also I thought madion didn’t frequent the spa cause they feature countess W products. She got all over Sami and Rafe about it. I felt it was very tastless for that to go on in a business. Shades of Marlena and John on conference table.
