Rafe had tickets to go "somewhere." We saw this in the scene with Carrie earlier this week. We heard him thank someone for the "tip." Just what is this tip? Where is he going?
Agent Spencer sent him on some sort of lead. What it’s about is a bigger mystery. What does Spencer know that they have not revealed to the general audience? I can only presume it has something to do with this case; otherwise, why would Rafe be so thankful for it. He’s not gung-ho on any case except prosecuting and convicting E.J. However, he seems to now have his own doubts that E.J. killed Stefano.
Now don’t have a fit, but I’m just speculating, maybe Stefano? He just got shipped off to wherever they are supposed to be from right? I’m sure I’m wrong, but wouldn’that just be DOOL?
if it was about Stefano being seen wandering around Europe. Don’t ask me why. Sometimes my mind calculates things I don’t even know about, lol.
I hear he is on vacation and is supposed to return. (No, please, don’t send him back again!

some reason why they haven’t told us where he is going. I thought for a moment it might be Switzerland but I think he would have mentioned it to Carrie if it were.
I’m getting so tired of this "investigation." All they do is stand around the cop shop talking about it. I believe in real life they would be out there pounding the pavement looking for clues/evidence.
Ha! Real life and Days are two things that should never appear in the same sentence!
it’s not Stefano, but the person Stefano had cloned to look him. Of course, the poor dimwit did not know he was going to be sacrificed, I’m sure. Then, come November sweeps, the "real" Stefano returns. All this, of course, is an assumption on my part and would depend solely on whether or not Joe M. is truly retiring. Other than that the lead given to Rafe makes no sense to me.
It was the Grey haired agent that was a turncoat not spencer. I think they wanted Rafe out of the way so that everyone wasn’t involved in the cliffhanger. COuld have even been vacation time for the actor.
Since Eileen Davidson as Kristen has already filmed scenes I’m wondering if he’s going off to get her and/or Susan
putting the investigation aside, until they unravel the casualties from the tunnel explosions, when the show resumes.
(Side Note:) I just noticed, in my post above, I forgot to mention Stefano (not Rafe) as the one whom I don’t want back, ha-ha.
I AM looking forward to seeing Rafe and company find out who the shooter was in the Stefano case.
