November 15, 2018 at 11:12 pm #7214casey ParticipantI confess I just can’t understand what Days’ plan is on this show. Storylines should move the drama forward and in a continuous way and have a purpose. Lately we’ve been seeing plots and characters that pass through for no good reason. Why Bonnie with that half baked Baby Bonnie story? Why bring Mimi back just for a short stint and then she leaves with Emily? Then Lucas says he’s going away to see this infant when he was a “father” for a few days? Then Rex now is going when he was here a week or so?
Does Days think by tossing former characters back in temporarily they will up viewership?
I’m shaking my head.November 16, 2018 at 1:34 am #54994bluebonnet ParticipantI’m particularly confused about Rex. Wasn’t Kyle Lowder supposed to stay around for a while? They made a big deal about his return and now he’s gone with no hint as to when or if he will come back. I don’t get it. And by the way, didn’t Lucas say he was going to Europe to see Allie, not Emily? November 16, 2018 at 2:13 pm #54996casey ParticipantYes, of course you’re right on Allie. Is this the last of Lucas now? November 16, 2018 at 2:14 pm #54997casey ParticipantRex stay than Sarah. Looks like it might be a Sarah/Eric pairing? November 16, 2018 at 2:15 pm #54995Patti Participantand it bears repeating once again. NO storyline should last longer than three or four months, or from one sweeps to the next. In other words, sweeps are when story lines should either be resolved or at least be somewhere close to resolving, but the cast of DOOL is so large, that this is practically impossible to do. So why keep bringing these old characters back? The only return I am anxiously awaiting is Jack Devereaux. Core characters and family stories are the ones I care about. So I blame the headwriter(s), because he or she controls where these stories go and how long they go, but too much of anything for too long will not keep fans happy…..at least not this one. November 16, 2018 at 3:13 pm #54998bluebonnet Participantwith you on that one. I’m not warming up to her at all. November 16, 2018 at 3:27 pm #54999mommytutu ParticipantI thought Kyle Lowder was staying on as Rex. When he said he was leaving yesterday, I was thinking, what’s the point. Was it just a way to bring Sarah on and get rid of Mimi and Bonnie. It wasn’t even climactic. It was just oh he’s here, oh he’s gone. Really disappointed with this for whatever purpose it was. November 16, 2018 at 11:17 pm #55000casey Participantwill rejuvenate Jennifer!
