There must be something evil in Jen’s house because it’s affecting her and now Abbey. They are both sticking their noses in someone’s elses business and are obsessed with it. They are also going off the deep end about it and becoming completely irrational. Could it be the water in their house that’s doing this to them? Good thing Nicole got out when she did.
I can’t imagine someone being as insistant as Jen over "saving" Daniel and now Abbey is just as bad about finding out what happened between Chad and Melanie. My God, they have both been told to butt out yet they both refuse and are hanging on like a bulldog. I hope this isn’t just writers’ incompetence and that they have something in mind that is causing this. It doesn’t seem to me these actions are something manifested by their grief. So, what in the heck is wrong with those two?

October 11, 2012 at 12:57 pm #35864PattiParticipantboth Jennifer and Abbey reacting to situations brought on by their grief in losing Jack more than their obsessions. I can’t see that kind of writing with the intention to make mother and daughter out to be two raving lunatics unable to keep their noses out of other people’s business.
October 11, 2012 at 1:23 pm #35873MKParticipantJennifer said something to Brady that she couldn’t save Jack so she will save Daniel. That’s so farfetched to me. I think that if she were truly grieving, she wouldn’t even be giving this a second thought. She’d be too preoccupied with her own sadness to become involved in Daniel and Nicole’s business.
October 11, 2012 at 3:03 pm #35882justwonderingParticipantPerhaps Jennifer doesn’t realize that she feels guilty for the way she threw Daniel over when Jack came back. Danniel was hers to have, and she didn’t want him. Now Jack is gone, and she cannot accept that Daniel has moved on without her. (I guess she doesn’t realize that this is a pattern for hero Dan, he always gets involved with his female patients). Jen’s hatred for Nicole has esculates every time she sees her with Daniel.
Abby’s issues of abandonment date back to Jack always leaving her. Next, she couldn’t commit to Cameron, and he moved on. Then her "best friend" leaves without explanation. All these losses have piled up, and she reacts.
Both of them need counseling big time, and to stay out of others’ business. They are turning into Maggie big time.

I think Abby’s reason was she never got the messages or there was something wrong with her phone. So it’s not like Mel didn’t try to contact Abby whatever happened to good ole’ face to face goodbyes or conversations.
