Days of our Lives is moving to 1 AM starting Sept. 9th. Honestly, who’s going to watch at 1 in the morning?
are moving their time for Days. Most of them are going to 12:00 noon, though. First time I’ve heard of 1:00 a.m. That’s a ridiculous hour, I must say. So far the east coast is staying at 1:00 p.m., so far as I know. Some show must have been canceled for the time change, I would imagine, and being replaced with DOOL.
Here in the Philly area, time is changing to noon starting on Monday. Not that bad (a least it is not 1 am). But isn’t this why we have our DVRs?
But, people like my mom are clueless about DVRs. I don’t even know if my mom has one. If they changed to 1 AM in eastern NC, that would be the end for my mom. I’m sure there are viewers here that will have the same issue.
Has to do with affiliates and what they choose to do. Something about if the shows performs poorly in some regard that the channel/affiliate has the right to shift programming around?!? Not sure if that’s the truth or not but I believe I read that somewhere. Sucks for the 1:00 am crowd – the older crew won’t find it just like they couldn’t find AMC or OLTL on line
