I loved Sami’s hair and blue dress. I think she looked the best she has looked in recent months. No more pleather, no more buns or ugly sweaters. She looks great in blue to bring out her eyes.
February 20, 2014 at 1:47 pm #42871PattiParticipantI thought she looked very professional yesterday, and her love scenes with E.J. were well done, and not OTT sexually explicit. Good job, DOOL. That’s the way to write a man in love, and not in lust.
February 20, 2014 at 5:50 pm #42877bluebonnetParticipantI loved the way EJ closed his eyes when Sami put her hand on his shoulder (before they went upstairs to bed). It was like he was truly in love with her and was so happy and relieved that she was finally showing that she was still in love with him, too.
February 20, 2014 at 8:19 pm #42878rngatorParticipantbut he still lied/s.
February 20, 2014 at 9:01 pm #42880lynnekarenParticipantIn bed with her on top wasn’t OTT? lol!! I’d say so.
February 20, 2014 at 9:17 pm #42881PattiParticipantbut guess I’m a little more tough-skinned than some, even if it is all acting and nothing more. Quite frankly, I thought the Abigail/E.J. shower scene was much more explicit than E.J. and Sami’s scene. Abbey straddled him like a horse and actually wrapped her legs around him at one point, all the while rubbing her topless self (even with the pasties on her breasts) all over him.
February 21, 2014 at 2:27 am #42885lynnekarenParticipanteither way, but I do have to disagree that Sami riding EJ, rocking back & forth in bed, legs around his back, was explicit and left nothing to the imagination, lol!! And we have seen Sami topless in bed with EJ before, too.
Im thinking that because it was Sami & not Abby, that people were more accepting of it. But, it was still explicit. I didn’t mind though.
February 21, 2014 at 12:51 pm #42889PattiParticipantyou did not mind that shower screw between EJ and Abbey, which is still going on…and on…and on…and on in flashbacks, was explicit but Sami’s softer lovemaking with E.J. was OTT? Mmmm, okay, then!
February 21, 2014 at 3:04 pm #42893BonbonParticipanthow frantic they always make their sex scenes. Don’t any of the characters ever have soft and gentle loving sex? They are always tearing their clothes off and acting like they are going to devour each other. Abby always has her mouth wide open…what’s with that?
Remember Patch and Kayla on the roof that very hot day? When he slowly lowered the strap on her dress over her shoulder? I don’t think I even breathed for a couple of minutes. Now THAT was sexy and enjoyable to watch.
February 22, 2014 at 4:29 am #42897lynnekarenParticipantgot THAT from. I never said I didn’t mind the shower scene. I don’t get all bent out of shape over any sex scenes is what I said. I also said Sami & EJ were absolutely explicit in bed too. She was riding him, rocking back & forth. But ok, if that’s what you consider soft lovemaking…
February 22, 2014 at 6:43 am #42898BonbonParticipantWHY do they think they need to show us that? Let EJ and Sami head off towards the bedroom and then fade to black. That’s all we need…we know where they’re going and what they’re going to do.
BTW, do you ever remember seeing Bo and Hope in a scene like that? I don’t. Now why is that?
One thing that used to bother me was when Carrie was in bed with Austin she would be rubbing his bare chest and would always go across his nipple. I thought that was a little, um, uncalled for?
February 22, 2014 at 2:08 pm #42899caseyParticipantfor the explicit scenes except for society is increasingly headed that way (can you say Miley Cyrus?) I remember my father years ago saying it wouldn’t be too long before we’d get full nudity on tv. Days it seems to me wants to both push the envelope and attract younger viewers who have grown up with this and likely think it isn’t “hot” unless it’s show me steamy. Kids today with everything laid out for them (forgive the pun!) have little experience in using the imagination.
I remember how uncomfortable I was in my younger days watching less explicit scenes with my mother. And that was nothing compared with what we currenty view. Not for the better in my book.February 22, 2014 at 2:27 pm #42900PattiParticipantI was making a comparison of Sami to Abbey. And yes, I consider what E.J. and Sami did was “making love”; what I consider E.J. and Abbey were doing is “screwing”, for a respectful lack of a filthier word. It just boggles my mind how some can see what they consider an explicit sexual scene one way, and another one much more (or much less) perverse, in another way. That’s all. Please, I am not trying to argue with you. I know you have your opinion and your right to it.
February 22, 2014 at 6:17 pm #42901BonbonParticipantMaybe it just means we’re getting old and going through the same thing our parents felt when they watched Elvis.
