I really cant believe that Sami WANTS to go on the run with EJ. I’m so glad Lucas dumps her sorry ass when he finds out. It’s rediculous!!! I mean this is the same girl who at one point did everything she could to hide the fact she was pregnant with his baby, even went into hiding. Thank goodness Lucas wises up!!
Thank patti for posting the pic of Ally and her RL kids, they are totally adorable!!!!
August 15, 2012 at 1:50 pm #34969luckeyParticipantdoes not put her kids first. If this is an example of what the new writers are going to give us….I’m not impressed.
August 15, 2012 at 2:20 pm #34970majencoParticipantWell I guess it’s back to hating Sami again. What choice do I have when they insist on making her an irresponsible moron all the time?
August 16, 2012 at 4:04 am #34981lynnekarenParticipantthe explosion? If so I missed it. Who the heck will watch them while she’s planning o run away? Complete disregard for 5-6 year old twins & a 2 1/2 year old. I just really, really dislike her.
Ali doesn’t mind these stories, or her being written that way?
August 16, 2012 at 9:47 am #34983BonbonParticipantwas a justification, Will did say HE would take care of the kids when she was telling EJ she was going with him.
I think you may have to add a couple of years to those ages now. Sydney has to be at least four or five isn’t she?
And, speaking of taking care of the kids, I wonder why we don’t see Caroline anymore. How long has it been?
August 16, 2012 at 11:18 am #34984NoraParticipantI thought I read that Caroline was supposed to be involved in some big story coming up. Maybe dealing with BO?? Has anyone heard anything about his departure??
August 16, 2012 at 3:16 pm #34989PattiParticipantbut Sami has made it very clear to E.J. that she is helping him because she and Will know he’s being framed, she knows he has no one else, and she’s determined to have him remain in her children’s lives. She’s not leaving her kids, and has asked Will to let them know that she will be back as soon as she can. Today’s show will confirm that, and you will also see that although she and E.J. do get a little close today, it is obvious that she is not there for the reasons most automatically assume when it comes to Sami. Although they do have a sort of animal magnetism toward one another, they both know full well that they are toxic together.
But when people despise a character on this board as much as Sami is despised, no one wants to see through their veil of deceit when it comes to her, so people tend to turn on her rather than see through it. It’s easier to excuse their hatred of the character if they vilify her every move. Truth is, there are so, so many other women on this show that are comparable to her in every way imaginable.
Personally, I hope they keep E.J. and Sami on screen for at least a while yet, because they entertain me a lot, and that’s what a soap is supposed to do; but, I also hope that they both soon wake up and BOTH be better co-parents and friends, but without benefits. Honestly, I think her end game will be Rafe, but that may not happen until November sweeps.
August 16, 2012 at 3:24 pm #34990PattiParticipantand according to a spoiler I read, it will be a really big storyline for Peggy McKay, who I’m thinking will do a really good job with it. I hope this does happen, because I think Peggy will shine in the role.
PR has taped his last scenes, but not a hint yet on the storyline surrounding his departure, but I did read a PR interview that said he was told beforehand by TPTB that they will NOT be killing Bo off, so I’m assuming the door will be left open for him. I’m more anxious right now to see what they will do with Hope, since KA has already re-signed a new contract to remain with the show.
August 16, 2012 at 4:26 pm #34993BonbonParticipantdoesn’t understand what Sami’s intentions of leaving with EJ are. (I also don’t believe anybody here "despises" her.) She made it very clear that she thinks he is being framed and is trying to help him prove it. BUT…it’s certainly not a very intelligent decision–dramatic, yes–but intelligent? Far from it. I think that is what people are commenting about. You’ve got to admit, Sami’s not the brightest bulb in the box when it comes to making good decisions.
August 16, 2012 at 9:08 pm #34995shadowParticipantSami’s motives are sincere. Where did she get the idea that she is a detective. Also, I am tired of hearing her say it’s all about the kids. Bah, bah, she doesn’t care anything about those kids. She is just using that as an excuse so she can be with E.J. AND I DO DESPISE SAMI !!!!!!
After reading that there is a possibility that she will get back with Rafe. How could he ever want Sami back after the things she has done defending E.J. and running away with him. Rafe should arrest her for aiding and abetting and throw her in the slammer. Why couldn’t Sami have fallen and ended it all. Oh wait, she is the golden girl of Corday and some of the writers and they wouldn’t dare write her off. No wonder she dominates the screen with E.J. Too much, too much.
Now to Kate – I never liked Ian, but I loved Kate being tormented by him. A lot of what he said was true. Kate just thinks she is above everyone else and she doesn’t love anybody but herself.
August 16, 2012 at 10:17 pm #34999PattiParticipantcheck a few posts above yours; you’ll find somebody who does.
August 17, 2012 at 10:40 am #35006BonbonParticipantthere’s ONE. My bad. Well kick me to the curb and cover me with newspaper.
I figured if I wrote that and there was anybody, they’d say so.
August 17, 2012 at 3:22 pm #35014justwonderingParticipantWell I guess that I missed the part where it shows that Sami wants to only help EJ and nothing else. I think the scene ended with a kiss!!! I don’t despise Sami, i just thought she had more brains than to get taken in yet again by EJ. He tried to seduce her before at the mansion and then stopped short to "prove his point that she had feelings for him".
I will admit that I despise EJ. I never liked him cause I feel he doesn’t know the first thing about love, he merely likes to be in control.
After multiple experiences with EJ, I cannot understand how Sami could want anything to do with him. I also can’t see how Rafe could ever want her back. Again,I feel that SAmi is doing exactly what she always blamed her mother—choosing a man over her family. JMHO
August 17, 2012 at 3:37 pm #35016trykeryderParticipantBonbon…here’s #2!
August 17, 2012 at 6:35 pm #35018PattiParticipantand irredeemable under any circumstance. Sami’s intentions may be to help him, but she’s once again falling under some uncontrollable feelings she has, and probably always will have, for him, and the same situation applies to him. And it’s not just because of their kids. That’s just the excuse they both use whenever she or E.J. needs to reconcile the situation to themselves. Is it sick love? By all means, and then some. When I think about it, it’s like when she’s pissed at him and goes off on him, especially when he’s involved with another woman; but, when he’s alone and has no one, which is what she believes now, she puts the past behind her and gives him the benefit of the doubt. She should have turned her back on him and said good riddance to bad rubbish; now she has once again put herself in danger for her efforts. They will eventually go back to hating each other at some point, I’m sure of it. Sami is like the road to hell, in that she’s filled with good intentions, but eventually winds up taking it anyway and literally finds herself "paying the devil his dues" (as he said to her right before he raped her). Will she ever learn where E.J. is concerned? Probably not, and that’s sad because I have always loved the character and can’t seem to make myself give upon her. I know it always sounds like I’m making excuses for her. Maybe one day I’ll give up on her, too, but I doubt it.
