The biggest problem I have with EJ and Sami is that EJ would definitely encourage Sami over the brink into being a truly bad person. If she had said it a second time, EJ would have found a way to get rid of Nick. And that’s the part of them I don’t ike. Rafe tried to help her control that impulsive, act without thought thing Sami has going on (you know, disconnect from her brain to her mouth, connection from brain to foot in mouth). I was very glad to hear him ask her if she reallly understood what she was asking for, though. Maybe he will be better for her than I thought and they will become a force to be reckoned with which I think would be great. But for now I will just watch and enjoy. But if EJ tries to push her totally to the dark side, well, I don’t think I will like it very much at all.
March 8, 2013 at 1:49 am #38444luckeyParticipantit boils down to my feeling that Sami is totally disrespecting herself by allowing EJ back into her life in the manner that she is doing. He completely disrespected her in the most base manner by doing those dispicable acts against her. I do believe in second chances; however, in my opinion, he has not come anywhere near earning a place back in Sami’s life let alone in her bed. I already said that I realize this is a soap opera and we have to suspend reality. It’s just an insult to women for a male character to be able to have done what he did and then prance around like a peacock after luring her back into his "good" graces.
March 8, 2013 at 8:31 am #38447BonbonParticipantEJ said he’d do "anything for her" then Sami said she wanted Nick "gone," not "dead." Then when EJ asked her if she meant killed, she said yes. To me that’s much different, wanting someone dead and wanting some killed. Symatics? Not to me.
Wanting someone dead would be just wanting something to happen to them to cause their death…sickness, accident, whatever. But wanting someone to KILL him, in my book, is downright evil. That’s whay I said Sami crossed the line for me. She is every bit as bad as EJ now.

He is rotten to the core, but polished. He is no good, but she just can’t help herself. However, he doesn’t make her better. When 2 people get together, they either improve one another or make them worse.
Rafe made Sami better, Nicole made EJ better. Sami and EJ don’t complement each other, althought this time around EJ has become a wuz!
March 8, 2013 at 3:11 pm #38448luckeyParticipantthinking here. I don’t think it’s symantics at all. For me, there is a definite difference between wanting someone "gone" and making it happen.
March 8, 2013 at 3:42 pm #38449PattiParticipantSami may be a lot of things, but I don’t think she would intentionally murder, or want to have murdered, anyone — except maybe when she temporarily lost her mind thinking that E.J. was going to take her children after Kate told her his plans, and she shot him in the head. I thought the writers made it not only clear on paper, but on the screen as well, that she was, at that moment, temporarily insane. Other than that, Sami quickly realized that she did not want Nick "killed" and immediately conveyed that to E.J., who then began hatching another plan. Him asking her if she was sure she knew what she was saying was just another indication that he DID NOT want to take her into Stefano’s world, but would if he had to to keep her with him.
I’ll tell what I want, since it’s obvious that EJAMI are the current couple of choice for these writers, is to write Sami and E.J. as loving and caring and always looking out for one another; however, where their enemies are concerned, hell hath no fury like one or both of them scorned. No one has to like it, but this is the way it works on all soaps, so yes, that’s what I want to see.
