So fake that EJ is declaring his love for Taylor so adamently when he’s only known her for a month. And the only things they’ve shared were 1) a dropped scarf 2) a few stolen kisses/grope sessions 3) funeral arrangements 4) and a car crash. How the heck can you fall in love in such a short period of time with really no time together? I mean if they were stranded on an island or something maybe it would make more sense. I really hate this relationship being shoved at viewers…that alone is enough to make me not like this couple.

Have they had lengthy conversations together so that they really get to know one another? No. Do they have any chemistry together? Heck no. So we’re supposed to believe that because of a couple of googly-eyed looks, they fell madly in love even though Nicole was going to be marrying EJ. We are being force fed this ridiculous storyline. Maybe it would have been more believable if it happened over a long period of time as they really got to know each other and if they had unbelievable chemistry but even then I don’t know.
May 12, 2011 at 6:58 pm #23630NoraParticipantWhat you mean you never fell in love by simply bumping into someone stareing into their eyes and smelling a scarf? Happens everyday.
May 12, 2011 at 8:40 pm #23635cornbreadParticipantOf course I fell in love with my husband that way…haha. My sister wasn’t involved at all…and we dated for 8 yrs before we married. That’s the only difference. And it was a mitten instead of a scarf; so very similiar HAHAHA!
May 12, 2011 at 9:29 pm #23637PattiParticipantwhen she tried to leave and E.J. actually looked like he was going to cry, declaring, "Taylor, I LOVE YOU….I LOVE YOU …. I laughed out loud. So comical to the point of feeling sorry for JS. How could he let them do this to him? He’s been so verbal in the past about story lines, I’m surprised he hasn’t lashed out about this one yet. And I couldn’t agree more, although I do like Tamara Braun, Taylor and E.J. have ZERO chemistry.

May 13, 2011 at 2:24 pm #23666islandgalParticipantThe John Cusack movie – that was the basic plot right? Met the girl over picking gloves for Christmas, spent an afternoon together, immediate attraction, missed opportunity, and spent ten years "looking" for her while both moved on with their lives. Then found her just before his wedding to someone else? The ending was a bit … lacking… but the overall humor was classic-Cusack.
May 13, 2011 at 3:16 pm #23669mommytutuParticipantThe way they go on and on about each other is sickening! I can’t buy the undying love thing at all. I want to vomit!
May 13, 2011 at 6:30 pm #23678BonbonParticipantI believe in love at first sight and have experienced it myself. We were on a softball league together and the first night I was strongly attracted to him, to the point of thinking of him all night and the next day. The next practice he asked me for a date and we were together for three years. I can honestly say I fell harder for him than either of my husbands. The only problem was, as he said, "a hot fire burns out quickly." If you can call three years quickly. And we separated amicably, both admitting that it had run it’s course. Maybe that’s the problem with love at first sight…it’s not forever.
