Poor over-aged Parker…that kid is going to be a major hypochondriac!
February 8, 2013 at 9:37 pm #37723BonbonParticipantto keep Daniel with Parker are sooooo lame. He’ll have to start all over if he doesn’t see him for one night??? Are you kidding me? And they want us to swallow that one?
February 8, 2013 at 11:07 pm #37724caseyParticipantWe’re to believe that Maggie left Parker playing with a puzzle and then she’s barely out the door when he’s burning up with 105?! This is just insane and of course, along with the timing, all to make Jennifer out to be the bad guy.
February 8, 2013 at 11:42 pm #37727justwonderingParticipantHow long has Chloe been Parker’s mother? She doesn’t know what to do with a child with a fever? What else can Daniel do? I cannot understand these more damsels who don’t know how to handle an emergency. You take him to the hospital and deal with it. It wouldn’t matter if Daniel was there or not. He is not available, so take control and be the parent. Many times a parent cannot be around 24-7/ I cannot stand weak women who cannot cope!!!
What on earth did she do when she lived in Chicago befor Daniel was around.
February 9, 2013 at 12:05 am #37729PattiParticipantsince they described it as her having much more spunk and independence. Doesn’t look that way to me. Except for her beauty, Nadia’s return as Chloe has been a complete fail for me.
February 9, 2013 at 2:44 am #37736mommytutuParticipantBlame the writers. Some days I don’t know how the actors pull things off with a straight face.
February 9, 2013 at 8:54 am #37740BonbonParticipantIt was bad enough when she was faking the stuff but hasn’t that kid ever had a fever before. BTW, that child we saw certainly didn’t have a 105º. He would have been very close to convulsions. My youngest used to get ear infections and his temp would soar like that. We didn’t go to the ER, we had in in cool water in the bath tub. And no flannel PJs and wrapped in a blanket either. You take their clothes off and try to cool them down.
Anyway, I can understand her getting in a panic but having Daniel there certainly was not necessary.
February 9, 2013 at 1:45 pm #37743bluebonnetParticipantlike he had 105 degree temperature. The director should have told him to look like he felt bad or at least look sad. The little actor looked like he was suppressing a smile the whole time!
February 9, 2013 at 3:58 pm #37754PattiParticipantattempt to use toddlers in what is supposed to be a serious scene. They cannot focus; they are distracted by the lights, the boom, and parents off-stage; they don’t have lines because they cannot memorize them; they can’t cry; and what’s worse, they laugh or smile in situations that require them to be serious. Ain’t ever gonna’ happen, so why do it?
February 9, 2013 at 5:09 pm #37759BonbonParticipantwho can act. But I guess they cost too much.
February 9, 2013 at 6:19 pm #37761PattiParticipantand the exception to the rule would be the Kunitz twins; however, I don’t consider them toddlers. I loved the babies who played Sydney DiMera in the ‘Sydnaping’ storyline. Even though they didn’t say a word, they had a remarkable connection with Ari, James, Joe M., and just about anyone who handled them. Don’t find that too often.
February 9, 2013 at 11:23 pm #37763lynnekarenParticipantParker never even utters sounds. When Daniel was tickling him on the couch he didn’t giggle. Just smiled. When he had him listening to the stethoscope and asking him "Do you hear that?" Parker didn’t nod or say anything. It’s just strange to me.
February 10, 2013 at 2:48 am #37766justwonderingParticipantThe actor used to be on Dexter. He was quiet on that show too. He is a cute child, but doesn’t seem too personable or comfortable in front of the cameras.
February 10, 2013 at 2:56 pm #37771caseyParticipantthat it’s perferable with young kids that they are overly quiet rather than risk them spewing things in the middle of dialog. But that “actress” who plays Sydney is the worst. At her age she should be acting. If not, find a replacement.
February 10, 2013 at 3:08 pm #37772PattiParticipantshe just hasn’t been shown yet.
