Patti, are you still watching Smash?  I almost gave up on it last night.  It has lost it’s appeal this year.  I find the same problem with it that I find with Nashville.  I like the storylines just fine but have to put up with all the crappy music.  I intensely dislike C&W and it seems everybody on Smash has to yell their songs, particularly Jennifer Hudson.  I haven’t heard one single number on either show that I can say I even mildly care for.

Although she is a very talented actress, why doesn’t somebody do something to make Angelica Houston a little more attractive.  It seems like they have intentionally made her ugly…hair and make-up.  I love Deborah Messing’s role though and she ought to get an Emmy nom for her part.  Other than that…blah!

even though I keep seeing promos and advertisements stting "beginning in March."  Don’t know what’s going on there.  I love the stories, too, but have to admit that I love the Broadway theme and all the music that comes with it.  I never cared that much for Jennifer Hudson exactly for that reason, but I did love her in Dreamgirls.  The blonde actress, whose name escapes me at the moment, who plays Ivy is, IMO, an even better singer than Katherine McPhee, although she is my favorite on the show.  I’m not crazy about this young musician she’s about to get involved with.  I loved her first boyfriend, what was his name, Dev or something like that?

I’m still watching Once Upon A Time, which has gotten better each week now that the spell has been broken.  And, Grimm is about to start the first week in March, I think.  Another one of my favorite shows, but I love those kind of shows anyway.

And have to agree with you about these kids with the musical.  GMAB.  They are way to young to accomplish something like that.  As Derick said, it takes years to write a musical.  I liked Dev better also.  This new guy strikes me as being an egotistical A-hole.
