I was wondering why did Serena have to have her phone in her hand with a picture of the stupid elephant so she could “identify” the “elephant in the room” so to speak. How many white elephants with their trunks up in the air does one person conceivably have in their bedroom?
but rather some sort of treasure, like maybe it’s pure ivory, or maybe it’s embedded with diamonds on the inside, or something that someone other than Serena knows about the value of the piece. I don’t think Eric knows anything about it other than it’s something he brought back from Africa. This is why this show needs backstories. All we ever got out of Eric’s adventures in Africa was the priest who mentored him, something about a little girl, and the death of that priest, for which Eric blames himself, which is what made him turn to the priesthood. There wasn’t even a mention of Serena until she came back. Weird!
