Any ideas how he’ll be untilized?
April 22, 2010 at 10:07 pm #12354PattiParticipantand he wasn’t in on the Anna/E.J. sydnapping scheme, I’m thinking he will somehow be involved in the ‘Night’ Hope storyline. I’ve read bits and pieces about his first interaction will be in scenes with Hope, and we now find that ‘Night’ Hope is a gambling woman, so that’s right up Doc Baker’s alley. I’m just wondering if they will ever explain how he escaped death in that hotel room. But, the way Days still brings back the dead, evades questionable issues, and, even more-so, history, I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if we didn’t see Lawrence Alamain walk into the Kiriakis mansion at some future point in time.
April 23, 2010 at 4:24 pm #12384loritrollParticipantI don’t get his return at all. I mean, he’s not going to let the cat out of the bag. It’s already been done. So, what is his importance? And, what the heck is up with Hope? This whole thing has me confused.
April 23, 2010 at 4:38 pm #12387BonoSugaRayParticipantYeah, I agree, Patti. I think Doctor Baker’s SL will be tangled in with the whole psycho Hope! Maybe he knows about her mental state, and has decided to use her to the best of his gambling ability?! Either that, or he’s the one who’s gonna – in the end – help her get back to normal, and in doing so, recapture his doctoring honors at the hospital?!
April 23, 2010 at 11:19 pm #1239653tdogsParticipantol’ Doc Baker should be really careful of the ladies in Salem – first Nicole, and now Hope…maybe Hope won’t aim at EJ and takes Baker out instead for an alibi.
April 24, 2010 at 12:02 am #12398GoodyParticipantshould watch out for the Dimera family. Weren’t they responsible for his ‘death’ in the first place, when Rafe was hit on the head and left to take the blame.
I like Dr. Baker and don’t want to see him return just to be killed off. I hope he has some kind of storyline.

April 24, 2010 at 1:35 pm #12403PattiParticipanthe was very witty at times, trading barbs with Nicole. I can’t wait to see how they’re going to interact his character, but his first meeting with Nicole should be pretty amusing. He’s always been able to hold his own as a character, and John Callahan is a great line deliverer. I like Dr. Baker and hope he sticks around for a while. As to who had him unsuccessfully killed, that would have been Stefano, since he was working with Nicole to get him out of town. I don’t think E.J. knew his story at that time, but Stefano did, and he was the one working with Nicole to keep E.J. from finding out about the (ugh) baby switch.
April 24, 2010 at 4:53 pm #12410BonbonParticipantWas the only time EJ saw him was when he was "murdered"? I can’t remember.
April 24, 2010 at 6:26 pm #12414PattiParticipantremember E.J. was at the hospital and actually had conversations with Baker about Nicole’s pregnancy. He didn’t want Baker to be her doctor, but he didn’t know about the switch or how Baker was blackmailing Nicole. All that E.J. knew was he was her ob/gyn. Nicole was insistent she stay with Baker because she didn’t want E.J. to find out the truth.
April 24, 2010 at 9:18 pm #12416BonbonParticipantThanks for jogging my memory. But now what’s EJ going to do when he comes to, realizing that Baker is not dead after all. Unless he and Hope decide to kidnap him. Now wouldn’t THAT be a switch. It’d really be funny to watch EJ as a captive. But I’m sure the writers don’t have that much imagination.
But I’m certainly interested in where this hook-up of Baker and Hope is going and what Hope has in mind for him. I can’t even guess.
