Says that Sami finds out EJ is alive. I didn’t read the article and I know these things can be misleading, but has anyone heard or read anything saying the same?
that she is given that E.J. wrote to her before he (supposedly) died, but was (for whatever reason) never given to Sami and winds up with Marlena. I don’t think there’s any proof to it, but it will be why Sami exits Salem again after Will’s funeral — to chase down what she considers to be some sort of proof (to her at least) that E.J. is alive. I won’t get my hopes up, since I’m sure the DiMeras will probably be behind this, especially Andre, but I’m hoping at some point, when James Scott is able to find the time to return, that this will be true. I, for one, love Sami and E.J. and hope they eventually get their HEA before the end of soaps.
But the cashier was too darned fast and finished the customer in front of me before I even had time to crack it open.
If Sami is off looking for E.J. for a year or two (our time) and returns only to find him right there in Salem (and her kids are grown up by then) all kinds of story lines can be spawned if the writers want to go that way at that time. I don’t know how long James Scott and Allison Sweeney want to pursue ttheir other projects. There has to be a time when they will want something less ambitious than the big screen.
Soaps are more grueling than the big screen and have less perks than the big screen, They can go through 90 pages of script in a single day. To tell the truth, Im not sure Days will b around in 2 years simply because the networks know it is far cheaper to put on a game or talk show. The genre is in trouble .
that’s never been a secret, but I find him an interesting character and an absolutely gorgeous actor, and I want him back. James has obviously decided he is way too busy to return right now, but I look forward to the day he does. The DiMeras need his character, as I don’t know how long we will have Stefano or Andre around, and I would love a great sl some day where E.J. and Chad team up to rule the DiMera empire, with Abbey and Sami right by their sides, and damn anybody in Salem who doesn’t approve!!! BRING IT WRITERS!!!
I suspect that if EJ is revived, it will be a recast as James has moved on. It was never James that I disliked, it was the character EJ.
I didn’t like the original SL with Sami. The coldness he had when he threw Sydey and Nicole out on the street. Making Sami think her child was dead!! It was too much for me.
if you go way back in time, you will see where many of our now-beloved characters were responsible for some very despicable things…Jack and Patch, among the many.
However, I was never a Patch fan and Im stll not. I will admit to likeng Jack.
I know that many characters strayed from their marriage and even were violent(Jack and Kayla) but it seemed that EJ did much more.
I heard nothing in the letter that indicated EJ was still alive. It was just a letter he wrote to be delivered to her posthumously. It could also be a trap as Eric pointed out. Now this doesn’t mean EJ can’t still be alive, we all know Kristen injected him with something. I am just saying there is no indication of that so far.
it is just a way for Sami to go off to find the truth about EJ. However, I don’t get this Stefano had him killed. If Im not mistaking Clyde had EJ killed because of the drug activity that EJ was involved in.
the letter that if anything happened to him, that he suspected it would be at Stefano’s hands. We know that’s not what happened, but Sami doesn’t know that E.J.’s own minion shot him. I don’t think Clyde had him killed; I think that the minion (can’t remember his name…Marco???) did that on his own, because he was now working for Clyde and not E.J. I still can recall the surprised look on Clyde’s face when it happened. He even called the guy out for it, and that’s when he told Jeremiah to make sure he buried the body where it would never be found.
I’m not sure how to take this letter, or whether E.J. sent it or the DiMera’s (or just Andre) are setting her up, although I don’t know why they would if he’s alive. I think this is a plot by Andre, but I haven’t figured out why yet. Is there really as safe-deposit box and does it really give Sami her revenge and a way to take Stefano down? Maybe that’s what will be disclosed when she returns in November.
Anyway, I’m glad Eric had the Salem brain on Friday and reminded Sami that’s not the reason she was here and the E.J. matter should wait; that she was here to bury her son.
