first scene – whereas Taylor is just brought back to take EJ away from Nicole…that’s perhaps why we (at least I), can accept Abby more so than Taylor. And just as this Taylor is growing on me – they are going to switch the actress (with someone that I didn’t ever care to watch when she was on before)…so the Taylor thing is pretty much going to be a FF’d for me in the future.
They keep cramming couple-tension down our throats and don’t let people be happy! And, just when we start liking someone (Nicole and now Taylor #1), they throw roadblocks in our way. I will probably FF the Taylor scenes, too.
Just watched yesterday and today’s shows. Since I can’t remember what the old Abby looked or acted like, I think this actress is going to be okay. She even sounds a little like Jennifer. She also acts very natural, not forced. I thought the scene with Chad and Johnny was pretty cute (for a change) – he was really leading her on! And she’s really short next to him. I also like the actor who plays Will. Actually, I guess I can say I really don’t mind any of the teens since that awful Kinsey is gone.
it just makes me sick to think I have to watch that Tamara Braun again. I have no justification for it, I just plainly DON’T LIKE HER…AT ALL!
Bonbon, I feel the same way, and I don’t feel that I need to try to justify anything. It is just a personal thing–I don’t like to watch her either.

While she was not my favorite actress, I am reserving judgment until I see what the new direction is going to be. This first Taylor started out as a hustler and then turned sweetie– yet I felt it was fake. So I am curious to see what this Taylor is like. I just hate that these announcements are so far in advance–Jay leaving, Tamara commmming. It is hard to get invested in a character that you know is leaving. There are so many different SL that could happen if Jay was staying.
been permanently "tainted" in my view as Ava – whom, (as a character and the SL) I detested. I will not get used to her. They can’t make me.
If they had given the current Taylor some more time to develop and a little more "meat" in her role, I would have accepted her, (despite the whole premise of her being plunked into Salem – to tear apart EJ and Nicole – the couple of which I was rooting for!) It was actually nice to have a sweet adult character on for once with no baggage or hidden agenda. The current Taylor would have worked for me – but with someone else such as Brady. Not EJ. EJ belongs to Nicole, they mesh in their "goodness and badness" (meaning they accept and know each other very well), past and present.
