Some comments on Tuesday’s show (04-16-13)….

I am at the end of my rope with John Black.  The original character and his love and devotion to Marlena has been completely erased by these writers, and Marlena’s weepy, trans-like state just makes me want to punch my TV.  Anyone who knows this couple, their past, their love, and all they endured with Kristen DiMera, will never accept the way they are being written, and it needs to STOP!

Who are these baby-faced minions representing the DiMera goons now?  What happened to people who looked like Marco?  It’s bad enough they’ve been presenting Stefano as the big, huggable, teddy-bear Nono — does Ricardo have to look so unthreateningly laughable as his "goon?"

I’m am so ready see the start of Kristen DiMera’s unraveling.  I’ve had enough of her manipulations;

Loved the proposal by E.J., and his interaction with Sami continues to impress me.  They truly belong together, and it is clear to me that these writers have no intention on breaking them up, even though some may try.  I’m still willing to give them a chance to prove me wrong, but I don’t think that’s going to happen;

Is Brady ever going to wake up and smell the coffee?  When he gets taken down, he’s liable to commit suicide, patricide and matricide, all at the same time.  I need Brady out of this story altogether.  I need Brady to act more like he did when Vivian was still around.  He just seems like such a little wimp to me now.

Ditto for Victor — there was a glimmering of hope for him yesterday.  He’s so much better when Maggie’s not around.  She needs to go babysit Parker daily and leave the dealings with family matters to the family heads and keep her nose out of his business.

Nicole and Vargas is a front for Ericole propping, so if they’re going to drag it out until it turns into Dannifer —- then, no thanks.

I’ve had enough of Rate as well.  The cougar and the cop lust was great for a while, but now all the prop department needs for them is a bed, and Rafe is back to dialogue like "ummm", "uhhh," and simple shoulder shrugging.  GG’s proven he can do more.

Get this Wabi storyline and the Nick/Vargas stories back on pace.  They seem to have fallen off a cliff or something.

Finally, Is Lucas alive and well and still living in Salem?  Just wondering, since he certainly warrants inclusion in some of these story lines.
