Some Comments re 04-01-13 Show …

Dannifer:  OK, let’s get Dannifer out of the way first.  Nothing about them is even worth talking about, because I am so sick of them being forced down my throat, I no longer care;

Chloe and Anne:  Since Chloe and Nancy will soon be gone, I wonder if they’re going to keep Anne, who probably grates on my nerves more than Chloe.  She has no horse in this race, yet she insists on playing Chloe’s BFF.  Absurd since no one ever heard of her before Nadia’s return.  Either give her a back-story or cut her loose.

Vargas and Nicole:  I’d be willing to bet they will link these two, even though it will be obvious to all that Nicole is trying to get Eric out of her heart.  But I do see Nicole throwing in the towel by giving herself permission, even if it is with another con.  She’s so damn guilty for how she feels about Father Eric, I’d be willing to bet she starts to lose confidence in herself ever being a decent person, thus she will give in to Vargas at some point.  Poor Nicole …. like so many of the women in Salem …. you think in order to be successful you need a man at your side.

Sami and Nicole:  Sami, STHU where your opinion of Nicole is concerned.  I laughed so damn hard at your ridiculous words to her, I fell off the damn couch.  So just stop, please, smack youself in the face really really hard, and look in the damn mirror.

Sami, EJ and Will:  Really????  You all think Stefano will open his heart and help Will, no questions asked, no price to pay?  I’ve always known that Sami’s brains are in her a$$ and William is too much of a pushover to even think of taking Nick on his own damn self,  but poor E.J. has been transformed into a wind-up toy.  It’s not his and Sami’s relationship that I mind, or even that they are living in DiMansion; it’s E.J. his self — he’s been stripped of his gonads and I wanted to see a little redemption arc for him, but this new and improved yet half dead E.J. is not what I wanted.  Please fix him, writers. 

Stefano, Kate and Rafe:  I’m sort of interested in where they’re going with this, since soon everyone will know about Rate’s secret love affair, especially now that Stefano’s seen them together.  And Steffie brought his lady friend back to Salem, — was that foreshadowing or what?  Question is does she have a purpose other than to show the ole’ boy can still cut the mustard, or is she some sort of Asain assassin and Steffie knows exactly what Kate has been doing all this while, even when he wasn’t around?  No wonder she’s worried about Rafe.  This could get much more interesting.

Vargas and Nick:  I hope they get right into the prison back-story and not have Vargas wandering around the HTS with a pipe wrench in his hands every time he runs into Nick.  Of course, by now Nick should be locked in Victor’s bathroom refusing to come out until he regains control of his bowels.  I can’t say I’m hating it though.  Nick’s OOC personality with everyone is in urgent need of repair.  At the rate everyone is finding out little Nicky’s been up to, the whole damn town might be coming down on him at once.  But don’t worry, Nick — you’ve always got Maggie McRuffles and Hopeless to build you up in everyone’s eyes.

Blake Berris:  Is the best actor on this show, barr none!!!

No Bristen Yesterday:  Fine with me!  Now, if we can only have "no Dannifer" today, I would be a happy camper.  (Woops — nevermind)!

All in all, the show was pretty boring yesterday, IMO!
