First off, how dumb is Aiden? Is he going to steal the title of biggest idiot from Brady? How did he not know that Stefano paid his debt? Who else had the means or motive to do it? Yet he doesn’t realize until Stefano texts him? How did he ever pass the test to become an attorney?
Also, what is he going to do with the money Hope gave him? How will he explain giving it back? Make up some lame excuse? Or will he keep it. If they got married she would find out anyway. I can’t wait for him to be gone. Hope is going to look like such a fool. Trusting this idiot and believing Bo abandoned her.
A weird side note, what was the flashing red and blue light outside Ben’s apartment? Was it Rafe’s cop car? If so he didn’t seem at all concerned that the police were there. I am thinking it was supposed to be that they live above some storefront with a neon sign. Very noire type of vibe with the music as well. When Ben hid in the hallway from Rafe it made no sense as they made it seem there was an apartment to the right of him which would be where the window is in his apartment.
My last issue, the bug at the Horton house. Finally someone notices it! But why do they keep talking while he holds it??? Destroy it you dope!!! All in all I love this storyline but these things just "bug" me!
Oh and I loved the flashback to the Paige murder. Very psychoish with the shower curtain being pulled down and for Halloween season we also have Hannibal Brady!
not so much like a con man but rather quite weak and hapless. This should be a red flag for Hope – first he gets roughed up by a so-called mugging, then the finger episode, and now this? What kind of cop is Hope that she wouldn’t at least start stringing these incidents together? And yes, what will he do with the money?
I really liked Hope and Aiden. He always seemed like a stand-up guy. Now they have turned him into a sniveling, gambling loser. I remember reading a quote somewhere from the actor who plays Aiden that somebody had to get thrown under the bus and it was him and now I see why he was so ticked off.
And Hope looks like a bigger fool. She waited so long to be sure about Aiden and then whoops, he tells you he owes a bookie 100 large and okay let me call the bank and liquidate some funds. I trust you since I agreed to marry you. Geez, really Hope? Maybe you do need Bo back to help you screw your head back on in the right direction.A princely sum like that he has no biz keeping it. He could make up some reason – tell her he has some bigtime cases upcoming and to make it more realistic say he will pay her back in increments.
The question is does he really love Hope or not? I have not seen evidence he is simply playing her.
Hope is being made the real fool. Once she learns this about her fiancee and then Bo possibly being killed off will be tough to handle.
This whole Aiden SL is one of the few faux pas of the new Days.I just think the new writers were stuck with Aiden and they didn’t want him. They wanted Bo and if they can’t have Bo then they want Rafe. Aiden has to go and his exit makes both he and Hope look like fools.
Rafe will mention that bit about Aiden’s finger being slammed in an elevator door to Hope, and she will then immediately detect another lie, because he told Hope he was bitten by a dog. Maybe he will try and recoup the money through more gambling. Shame that he’s being written this way, but I can understand him telling fans at that event when he disclosed he was let go, saying somebody had to be thrown under the bus; I also think that’s when TPTB got their panties in a wad over it, because it spoiled the fact that he was leaving and that he had been fired. I do see a lot of boards claiming that Bo only signed on for three months, but I think that’s wrong. PR may not have signed a contract, but Jason Cook, the actor returning as Shawn D., is the one who signed for only 3 months, not PR. I don’t know how long he will stay on, or even if he will be killed off, but I’m sure he will be involved longer than for 3 months.

I think the lights outside the window shows us they live in a downtown ish area – like how you would see a flashing liquor sign on the window etc. Maybe they’re above a liquor store.
Wouldn’t Hope find out about his DEBT that he needed to borrow from a bookie to take care of? When you get married you can see this "shared debt" etc – simple credit report. BUH BYE Aiden. I liked them early on but they flzzled fast for me. Bo coming back is just a bonus.
with Aiden leaving but it would have made more sense to have Bo return and Hope realizing she still loved him than this flip the switch nonsense with Aiden’s character.
I am so over this story line! The old writers wrote s great SL that took iis time to develop. They allowed Hope and Aiden to get to know each other and evolve into true feelings. However, the wrting changed and no longer wanted Haiden to cvontinue.
Obviously, TPTB had other plans with the large amount of characters being brought back for the 59 th anniversay. Apparently Bo is one of them. I am sure that I am in the minority here but I have no interest in the Bo SL. i actually Fast forward the scenes with him because i just don’t care! It’s kind of ironic cause I never FF even when the story isn’t interesting.
I feel that TPTB could have written a different end for Haiden without destroying his character and making Hope look like a fool. I really hate it when they make women out to be helpless and in need of a hero ( and they have always written Hope that way). It is especially annoying since Peter apparently isn’t planning on staying around — so why return at all? Hope spent a long time waiting for Bo to return or get in touch with her. She finally moved on and found love. Why ruin it along with Aiden’s character and Hope’s judgement. There didn’t need to be closure, Hope had finally moved on!
In my opinion, there was no need for Bo to return if it was to be short term. How is she suppose to pick up the pieces when he leaves again? I feel that Peter has ruined Bo for me and I just can’t get past his actions concerning his part.

I am a Bope fan but I totally get your frustration about how the character of Aiden has been trashed. I don’t see how Hope will end up looking anything but foolish at the end of this. While I agree they let the relationship between Aiden and Hope build over time I just never warmed to Aiden and found him boring. I think it would have been better to have Hope say no to the proposal and then have Aiden leave town. This way Hope could seem more in charge without need of rescue. In fact, I would rather Hope Join Steve in finding and rescuing Bo for once.

I can’t stand she was taken in by the Aiden gambling debt and that stereotypical woman standing by her man blind trust.if after all of this is said and done, that it’s Kristian Alfonso who decides to leave the show. She has made no bones on social media how she feels/felt about the Aiden/Hope sl; she loved and I would say actually adored it, including Daniel Cosgrove as an actor. On the other hand, she refused to even include a behind-the-scenes picture of her and PR, even after a lot of the cast were posting pics of the returning cast members together, especially couples and/or character families, as in Steve, Kayla and Joey; Andre, Chad and Stefano; John and Marlena with Sami, Eric, Brady, etc., etc. Kristian has always been polite on twitter and always condemned hate comments, yet she would/did not care to post a comment about PR, nor post a picture of them together, so I’d so she was p.o.’d and still stands her ground on how she feels about this sl in that she is doing her job, but she doesn’t have to like it, leading me back to my opening question …. would she quit over this? There are going to be other arrivals as well as departures over the next 9 to 10 months. Wouldn’t surprise me, and I’m sure that with her jewelry line as well as all the money she’s made as a soap star these many, many years, I don’t think she’ll be needing to worry about money for quite some time. Kristian is HUGE in the soap genre world, plus there’s always work out there for someone as advanced in her field as Kristian Alfonso. Just sayin….!
Well I hope she hangs in there cause from all I read Peter doesn’t plan on being around too long. Kristan has endured bad storylines in the past. I wasn’t aware that she disliked Peter but that’s ok with me. I liked him ok but I just really lost all respect for him when he left the show. (THat was his choice) WHat got me is her then began a campaign with fans to demand he be brought back. You cant have it both ways. After that I was done with Peter and also BO. Actually, Bo kinda of did the same thing just left.
staying for three months or even a bit more, then wouldn’t he be done with shooting since Days is so far in advance? Surely someone knows if he’s not on set anymore?
As for KA, despite her long tenure, in the end she is still just an actor, an employee and SLs and hirings/firings are not her decision. Geesh, these people are paid princely sums to act and there are crummy parts to any job. I would hope she could move on and anticipate better Days ahead.
