Days is filmed in LA, but is supposed to be set in the Midwest. I lived in LA for 20 years and you do lose track of the seasons (there is always a Santa Ana wind for a few days in December with temps in the 80’s). Now I am back home in New England where we ALWAYS know what season it is! I had to laugh when Eve came on camera today (when there is supposed to be a blizzard, and unlike SoCal snow is not confined to the mountians) Well, she was wearing a sleeveless dress! Rest assured, no one in the Midwest wears sleeveless dresses in December! However I am loving the new writers!

Well it’s set in Minnesota and it’s supposed to be Christmas time and she is in a sleeveless dress wearing her high heels with the red bottoms and a little wool coat thrown over it. It makes me laugh because in the books the character of Hannah is always wearing her boots and switching over to her nicer shoes when she gets where she is going and has on her gloves and a parka and a hat all the time in winter. Oh well, we gotta make these girls look good no matter what I guess.
When was Eve on today? I don’t remember seeing her, it was mainly Steve/Kayla trapped in the supply room and Gabi/JJ and Brady and Victor.

December 2, 2015 at 2:57 am #49871dvalParticipantThe movies are based on books. This was the second one on Hallmark. The books are light reading and actually have the recipes for all the cookies and cakes in them. But Hannah, the character Ali plays, in the books is a slightly overweight redhead with frizzy hair who hates exercise!

Liked the idea of him being the cop and her being the snoopy detective wannabe, giong behind his back to try and solve the murder. It was cute, but I love Ali so I’ll probably watch all of them. I still think back to Second Chances with her and Greg Vaughan and even though they play siblings on DOOL, I still loved their chemistry in this movie (although there were lots who couldn’t accept it because of this reason alone). I thought Ali and Greg both did a great job with that movie.
Speaking of Greg Vaughan, did anyone watch The Christmas Note? It was a wonderful Christmas movie, but for as much PR and advertising Greg did about it on shows like Home and Family and personal interviews about it, he was actually on-screen for all of about 15 minutes total. Although the story was very good, I was a little disappointed that Greg had so little to do with it.
