We footage that implies Stefano is still alive
Recasting Stefano is a horrible choice. I think the fans will be really angry.
I am so totally disappointed over this. I find it totally disrespectful to Joe M. That would be like re-casting Tom or Alice. Please let it be EJ, but not Stefano.
especially of extremely popular characters, good, evil, or both, just never seem to work. We are simply too used to the original, and in most cases a recast is a huge mistake.
That being said, I did read in my phone spoilers that they are bringing back someone who supposedly is "STEFANO". Tell me they’re not trying to kill this show!
Wow, brilliant idea TFlo1018! Rolf saves Stefano’s memories and gives them to someone else! Similar to turning Hope into Princess Gina. So the real Stefano dies, but his memories live on. Avoids the whole recast issue since it’s not truly the real Stefano.
That makes so much more sense, for this show. Not a real Stefano, just someone who thinks he’s Stefano and has his memories. That would tie into Rolf and Gina and would then make sense as to Rolf’s plans.
But is Days astute and creative enough to consider? Surely surely they MUST realize how no one wants the real SD back if not JM.
Johnny is a chip off the old Stefano block. Could Rolf have somehow gotten Stefano’s memories into him?
it would be Johnny. This is supposed to be a year later and I find it hard to believe Johnny would be smoking a cigar. He would still be young, wouldn’t he?
thinking Rolf brings him back to life but with Stefano’s memories and mannerisms. I read that Brandon Barash has been on set and that he will be returning, but as a completely different character. Stefano, maybe, taking on the sins of the father???? Hmmmm!
