I watched for the first time in a week. And what do I have to see? Stephanie acting all 5th grade about Melanie. Does anyone jump to conclusions faster than she does or what? And why did she say Melanie broke up her and Philp? She left him after she got kidnapped and didn’t want to be involved with the Kiriakis family and their nasty connections. Now that’s Mel’s fault too?
Also the stories must be boring everyone because this board is soooo darn quiet, LOL. Maybe TPTB need to start looking at these boards again.
nope unfortunately she’s still here. I read on Dayscafe that she says goodbye in 2 weeks. yeah it’s a big eye roll scene with her today too. you just want to slap her fat mouth. I did think it was funny all her bitching about melanie and all Dario got out of all that she said was "you think I’m cute" I had to laugh at that.
but I didn’t want to offend anyone by saying the Board isn’t as much fun to read as usual! I actually tuned in to watch today and turned it right off because I came in in on Dario and Stephanie. Glad the Stephanie character is leaving, have grown totally weary of Melanie and her ridiculous antics, don’t care for Dario’s stiff acting abilities, Rafe2, or Taylor. I must not be in the minority because as dval said, there’s not much action on the boards. Actually, it’s more fun to read Days Cafe Days ahead, then when Maggie and Victor are on I can watch.
months for that matter and my FF’d button wouldn’t be used once! They are just so cute together! I hope for big story lines with those two and not just "fluff" background pieces…come on writers! Let’s do it!
Well, I disagree. I really don’t have any interest in Msggie and Victor. I Got bored watching them lunching together. Now if they put them in an adventure, that might be interesting. Don’t get me wrong, I like Victor and Maggie, but not if she is going to make hom soft and cuddly cause THAT is not Victor.
not because of Shelly, because she is good at what she does, no matter how bad the writing is for her. But I wish it had been Molly Burnett instead. I can’t stand the character of Stephanie, but not because of the actress, who is probably one of the best actors on this show. I despise how the daughter of Steve and Kayla Johnson was diminished to a whining, dependent, lying, manipulative, man-hopper. This is just sinful that Patch and Kayla’s daughter was portrayed that way, and I’m glad for Shelly to decide to move on. It wasn’t doing her any good whatsoever to stay, because she has sort of been stereo-typed to be this way now, and once these writers get it in their heads the way they insist a character (especially a character with history) be portrayed, neither hell nor high water is going to change their minds. God knows, look what they’ve insisted on doing with Sami Brady over the years. I find Sami somewhat refreshing this year, but most fans still refer to her in the darkest of her time, and insist she will never change. To me, this doesn’t distinguish a character; it betrays the actor. They’re painted into a corner they cannot get themselves out of until the paint is dry enough for them to walk on (or their contract is up, whichever happens first) — then they can get out, and that’s when it becomes their decision and not the powers that be if they decide to continue. Shelly got another job before she was even gone from the show, so I say congratulations on showing KC and others that you are strong enough, and good enough, and wise enough, to know when enough was enough.
I agree. I think most of the actors do the best they can with what is written for them. Allison Sweeney seems to have new life with Sami now that she has is trying to work out her problems instead of just blaming everyone else for them.even though she does have her setbacks now and then. In the past she would have run to some other guy when things went wrong with Rafe but now she is trying her best to stick it out although I for one would have popped Rafe2 by now, LOL. Galen is doing a great job letting loose instead of always being the uptight, by the book, do the right thing guy. If they let Roman cut loose once in a while his character would probably be a lot more interesting, too.
Does anyone know if that show Shelley is going to has been picked up or is it just a pilot?
I never thought that I would find "Days" boring, but it is hard to get excited about the show now. I always read Salem Place board, but I don’t get upset if I miss the actual show. Reading what the board members have to say is the most interesting thing going on in Salem.
As for Stephanie, goodbye and don’t come back unless you hve a personality transplant and mature.

It has been a snoozefest lately. R2 and Sami..ZZZZZZZZZZ, EJ/Nicole/Taylor …ZZZZZZZZZZZZ, Melanie and Dario ZZZZZZZZ, The whole teen set ZZZZZZZZZZZZ, except for Victor and Maggie, Bo and Hope and Maybe Stefano and Kate I am bored to tears.
