Okay, we all know Steve is faking his feelings for Ava but how far will this go? And does Ava truly have a child?
I still think this is kind of ridiculous, as why can’t Steve locate Kayla on his own?February 2, 2016 at 2:21 pm #50692lynnekarenParticipanta little bit. I’m not into it at all! I don’t care if there’s a baby, I don’t care about scrawny Ava. I’m with you, if Steve is the finder of all missing people, why not just go look for her instead of the baby?!
February 2, 2016 at 2:34 pm #50693PattiParticipantwho was created by Dena Higley. She was fired before, and talk is she may have been again. Although I like Tamara Braun, her DOOL character was only brought back to destroy Steve and Kayla and try to break them apart once and for all. This baby story, however, just doesn’t make sense to me. How long ago was this child conceived? Seems to me he would have to be in his late teens, early 20’s, when Steve was either with Ava by choice, or when she drugged and kidnapped him on her last go-round. Personally, I think there will be a child; otherwise, why the continued showing of his picture, and now Steve has some clue from someone in the ISA involving Ava’s father’s compound and something about someone selling children on the black market in Indonesia??? Again….ugh; Can’t help thinking, who is this new teen, Henry, and where did he come from??? Please, can’t we have someone in Salem who is NOT connected to someone else, if in fact that’s the case? Or is their child long dead and they are both chasing a child who no longer exists? Higley really likes to create disasters with happy couples. Maybe that’s why she went (or was sent) on a leave of absence, which should be starting in real time about now, and from February sweeps on until whenever she returns (if ever), we will begin to see the newer stories created by Josh Griffith and Beth Millstein. If ratings improve after sweeps, that may be what has happened. Anyway, that’s my wish, because Dena Higley was never one of my favorite writers, I’m hoping she will soon be gone again if she continues with Ava Vitali and her machinations. I swear, if Dena Higley breaks Steve and Kayla apart again, I may have to join and follow her Twitter page just to give her a good piece of my mind over stories like this one (not that it would do any good). LOL and JMO!!
February 2, 2016 at 2:40 pm #50694PattiParticipanthad the same picture of the snake on the wall as the one tattooed on Ava’s back, so I’m sure that room would never be found be Steve or Joey in time to save Kayla if he doesn’t go along with Ava. I do give him credit for telling her he wasn’t letting her out of his sight, because snakes can slither away without ever being detected that they were there in the first place.

February 2, 2016 at 5:09 pm #50698piewomanParticipantHe had no connections – was cute – awkward navigating the dating sea – had friends – why wasn’t he at Will’s funeral? Jeez I hate lost characters! We’re getting too many ppl we don’t care about – Eduardo and Chase and Ava – stick with the core families.
February 2, 2016 at 11:28 pm #50702caseyParticipantThe violence and sheer nastiness of Steve and Ava is not what I as a fan want to see.
February 3, 2016 at 8:51 pm #50716bradysgmaParticipantUsually you see captors offering their prisoners food, but it seems like Ava was willing to let Kayls starve to death in that room. I thought Patch should have just followed Ava to the hiding place, but it doesn’t seem like she was going to feed Kayla.
