Hopes hearing has driven me to insanity. Who the hell takes a medication that alters their state of mind and then pleads guilty to crimes committed under said drug? Where’s the part that she was under the influence and doesn’t the doctor have some culpability in this for prescribing it to her? Then the stupid prosecutor wanted to give her 30 years without parole–for what? Mugging? Child molesters don’t get that kind of sentencing. Glad to see we at least got a reasonable sentence, but still the whole hearing was ridiculous.
Secondly, I get ill everytime I see Sami and EJ kiss. Sami was just groping and slobbering all over Rafe and now she’s out of breath and ready to jump in the sack with EJ–YUCK! Am I to believe that Sami’s real problem is that she just wants to have sex? Maybe she is a sex addict. Thank goodness they put the breaks on her and EJ having a romp, otherwise they’d have her pregnant again.
Lastly, is Arianna so stupid that she couldn’t figure out what Rafe is doing? She almost blew it! Please get her off the show, she is driving me nuts too.
They need to get this show on the road or I’m going to be hitting the road and not watching it anymore.
I absoutely agree with you on happy to see that Sami put the breaks on having sex with EJ becuase with her track record, 2 times she had sex with him, ended up 2 kids with him. He must have some super sperm! LOL!!! She had lots of sex with Rafe and didnt get pregnant. It must be something in the Salem water.
I’ve said before that Sami is bipolar. I know a few people that are bipolar with personality disorder and they have a heightened libido. One even became a "working girl" because she found she could make money doing something she loved. Of course neither the ones I know that are bipolar or suffer from personality disorders aren’t on medications either.
but I really believe Sami’s pregnancy with Sydney was strictly Ali Sweeney’s idea, because she was determined to write her own pregnancy into the script. This actress pulls a lot of weight with TPTB, and it’s obvious that these writers love the ground she walks on.
Setting Bo on fire might have something to do with the 30 years.
But I agree, that entire Night Hope aftermath was ridiculous and rushed through.I believe the sentencing was based on attempted murder rather than the muggings. 30 years for attempted murder would not be out of the question.
so I probably shouldn’t open my mouth on the matter but based on what I’ve been reading on this post about Hope and "her trial" I have to know – did they gloss over the muggings, intent to do bodily harm, aggravated assault, robbery, etc.,? In our state, the cops charge the criminals with everything in hopes of getting them on something…(but our criminals are let out of jail due to overcrowding and time served and time off sentence for good behavior – so murderers get out after only about eight years unless it is a high profile case – like Manson).
All I know is the huffing and puffing she does during these love scenes creeps me out. Too much! You’re not running a freakin triatholon for heaven’s sake.
that there would be a storyline with Sami having bipolar disorder? It was when Marlena was still on the show and it would have been a big storyline involving Sami and her family. Too bad it never happened when they still had Diedre Hall.
it wasn’t a trial. She pled guilty to whatever it was she was charged with. We don’t know what that was because we didn’t see the arraignment. She maybe only pled guilty to trying to set Bo on fire…attempted murder. Remember, don’t try and make any sense of what they do on this show.
It’d be like someone trying to rob a store and shooting and killing the owner in the process. If he pleads guilty to the murder, they won’t bother with the attempted robbery. But if he didn’t admit to anything, they’d throw the book at him with everything they could come up with, probably including not flushing the toilet.
I’d also imagine because this was only a hearing to sentence and not a trial, that’s the reason why the drugs were not brought up. There was no reason to. So Bo mentioned it only to try to get the judge to be lenient in her punishment.
talk about things that don’t make sense … yesterday Chloe, in that blue dress showed her stomach as flat as a pancake, and today she comes out in the white dress, still skin tight and low cut, but with a baby bump that made her obviously very pregnant. First time I ever saw them SORAS a fetus.
I agree, they could have had her in some looser fitting clothes at first to make us believe she was hiding an expanding waistline before introducing the bump. Also just a day or 2 ago she was finally going to announce her pregnancy. Seems to me she did it just in time.
