Local NBC affiliate had all hurricane crap during Days. I can’t get hold of anyone at the station to see if they are going to replay it later. Did I miss anything good?

I live on the Texas Gulf Coast. I have been through way too many storms. Information on the storms is much more important than and episode that can be watched on line later.
September 4, 2019 at 12:51 pm #56037powerpaw2ParticipantI understand the importance of coverage as I have been through multiple storms as well, but it was the same thing being repeated over and over. They could come in every 15-30 minutes with updates and use the crawl at the bottom of the screen. This is our third hurricane in 4 years though thankfully it isn’t looking to be nearly as bad as Matthew or Irma. I’m more concerned about people in the Carolinas and SE VA since it looks like they could possibly take a more direct hit. Thank you for the mini lecture in front of everyone though. All I did was mention Days wasn’t shown because of hurricane coverage and I was wondering if I missed anything good.
BTW, if anyone is interested in helping with disaster relief, Samaritan’s Purse has a 4 star rating on charitynavigator.org. They go into the worst areas of the world to help people.
September 4, 2019 at 2:38 pm #56039mommytutuParticipantMy family lives in Coastal NC. They were severely effected by the hurricane last year. That said, I live in WA state. I don’t need 24/7 coverage of a hurricane that’s just hovering over the ocean. If I want to see what’s happening, I can turn to the weather channel or get on the internet. This is just the local affiliate trying to look like they’re on to something. And let’s be honest, the people that the news is important to, at this time, probably don’t live in the area of the broadcast.

September 5, 2019 at 12:29 am #56041doolfanParticipantPowerpaw you can download the NBC app and watch episodes of Days for free. The current day show may not be on until later in the evening. This is what I do when I miss an episode, like today.
September 5, 2019 at 12:43 pm #56044powerpaw2ParticipantI don’t need another app on my phone. Will just hope it wasn’t anything good. The synopsis on the cable guide listing for yesterday makes me think it wasn’t exactly must see TV.
September 5, 2019 at 2:36 pm #56046mommytutuParticipantIf you go to Days Cafe, they have a synopsis of what happened on each episode.
September 5, 2019 at 10:30 pm #56049bradysgmaParticipantYou don’t need to install an ap to watch Days. I just put "Watch Days of our Lives" in the search box and then click on nbc.com watch full episodes and it comes right on, but with a lot of commercials, but not as long as live TV.
September 8, 2019 at 8:27 pm #56070GrockieParticipantAs it is every day, Days is shown on nbc.com and can be seen at On Demand.
