One of the best games ever – until the final 20 seconds if you’re a Seattle fan. You poor Seahawks – the bonehead call of Super Bowl history. What was Pete C thinking!!!! You had the game all but won until the coach decided to pass on the one yard line. Are you freaking kidding?!Everyone in the universeknew what to call – give the ball to BeastMode Lynch and you’ve got a championship. No reason whatesoever for that pass and Carroll’s expanation was pathetic. Seattle must be in mass mourning today. My sympathies.
But for Pats fans I give you props. Brady and Co came back from ten points and that unheard of hero Butler saved the day.and my rooting emotions were reserved. On the one hand, I didn’t want Seattle to repeat, but on the other hand I never root for the Pats, but when you think about it, both of these teams are terrific. That play was definitely a disaster. Whoever thught they should pass from the one yard line with Lynch right there, who can literally carry the ball over the goal line with guys hanging onto him, has to be kicking his self in the butt over and over again today. Even if he didn’t make it, they still had 25 seconds on the clock. Talk about the worst call ever in NFL history, that was it! Now, the deflate-gate investigation will continue, so the Pats will have that to face.
