Participantfor calling sami on her past actions as well as her current judgment working with ej after what he has done.

Participantthat was priceless! Everytime Sami would say something Nicole did, Eric would remind her she did the same thing, lol. I love how high and mighty everyone is – they can change, but nope not Nicole.

ParticipantHe is playing his role so well and he has that underlying smoldering look when he’s with Nicole. I also give him kudos for telling Sami like it is with no qualms whatsoever. And I wish she’d stop calling him her baby brother.
But, now, what was with that sweaty night he spent? Looks like some hot flashes I’ve had. And…is Nicole REALLY trying to change? It sure seemed like it when she was talking to EJ.

Participantit has something to do with his time in Africa (the Congo), thus the strange drums. Are we going to be looking at another PTSD storyline for Eric Brady, because, I mean, they did Jack’s so well (said with sarcasm).

Participantit was about Nicole. I don’t remember Eric ever being in Africa, I thought he was in Colorado.

Participantwhich is the next mystery in Eric’s past, where he’s been, what made him become a priest, and what happened to him in the last 12 years. That’s all I know about it so far, but it definitely has to do with Africa. Maybe he was a photojournalist at the time and got involved with some pretty heartbreaking sights in Africa, which changed his life’s course from photographer to priest, and the effects on him now from what he experienced or saw there. I’m just guessing at this point, but his unknown journey will begin the storyline for the next chapter of those missing 12 years of his life. I’m glad they’re doing something like this as opposed to no explanation for him to return after 12 years and no one even knowing he was a priest.

Participantthat no one knew he was a priest. When he first saw people, relatives anyway, I got the impression they all knew. I mean, supposedly he’s been in contact through the years as evidenced by small referrences to calls from him and I can’t imagine him not revealing that. Am I wrong? (I didn’t know that was a spoiler in your previous post…so many characters have gone to Africa.)

ParticipantDid anyone else notice that whenever Father Tobias (formerly Father Mulcahey in MASH) is on screen a portion of the MASH theme song plays in the background?

ParticipantThe first time he came on screen on Days, I had to laugh! Closing my eyes made me picture a scene from MASH just hearing his voice. I’m glad Days asked him to play this part.

Participantthey were shocked to see he was a priest. It seemed to me that no one knew he had gone through seminary and taken vows to be a priest. They seemed to not know what he’s been up to at all for quite some time.

Participantseems to me the only ones who knew were Marlena and John, and maybe Caroline.
December 7, 2012 at 4:37 pm #36738dval
ParticipantShe mentioned one day how hard it was for her to keep it a secret that he was in the seminary. I assume Marlena knew, too if Sami knew.
December 7, 2012 at 4:38 pm #36739dval
ParticipantPatti’s post about marlena and john knowing. But sami definitely did, too.
December 7, 2012 at 4:53 pm #36741Bonbon
Participantthey all knew, well family and close friends anyway. I didn’t think it was any secret.

Participantbut I think he stinks as a dramatic one. I’m just not buying him as a priest at all.
