I sometimes feel she is being over-dramatic. I don’t think people in real life talk like that. And I wish she’d quit rubbing Paige’s arms up and down when she talks to her. Once is okay but she does it over and over and over.
I hope I’m not coming across as too critical because I do like her so far but she hasn’t really struck me like, say, Madison did. I liked everything about her instantly. Maybe she just isn’t totally into or comfortable with her character yet.
Not only is Kassie DePaiva a wonderful actress, she is a very good singer. I don’t think she’s being too over-dramatic at all. She has some very deep-rooted feelings about Jennifer, Jack, Frankie, and their past misery is bound to be explored. I may not like what’s coming up for Jennifer due to Eve’s revenge plot, and why she plans bad things for Jen’s future (at least that’s what I’m going to imagine), but I’m looking forward to watching Hurricane Eve hit Salem, and see just what’s planned for her path of destruction. That’s mostly because of the actress, because I think Kassie will rock this role.
as Eve’s exchange with Jenn I saw as over the top. But the writing had something to do with it as well, as it was very confusing and Eve went back and forth almost frenetically concerning Frankie.
I think there’s little doubt though that Eve will be a tornado in Salem and Jenn better be up to it.
BTW, wouldn’t Eve be almost in a panic if Paige is indeed Jack’s daughter, knowing she and JJ are getting closer?won’t have to happen to Paige and JJ, because I rather like them together. But I won’t complain if they have to be brother and sister. As for Eve, she was a touch over-the-top and a little forced, both with Daniel and with Jennifer. However, practically everyone seems to love her. I haven’t made up mind about her, so I’ll give it a week. Her innuendos aimed at Jennifer were fabulous, however.
Eve slept with both Frankie and Jack and maybe she’s convinced JJ’s dad is Jack when it is really Frankie’s?
I still hope once this actress settles more into the part she should be effective.to Jennifer yesterday, something about Frankie not knowing about something, and ‘neither does her father’ mean …. not much, I’m betting. Perhaps we’re all overlooking the real reason for Eve’s return, which has nothing to do with Jen, Jack, Frankie, or anyone else — it’s all about getting her hands on some serious money, thus Paige’s telling her that they couldn’t afford to send her to college, get a new wardrobe, get a new apartment, yada, yada, yada. They are trying to make them look pi$$-poor, so I’m thinking Eve’s looking to get her hands on some quick cash. She’s already talking to someone on the phone (I’m betting a lawyer), calling herself Eve “Baron”; (who’s Mrs. Larson then?), so I think we’re on the wrong track worrying about who Paige’s daddy might be. I do know she is not as approving as Paige would like her to be with JJ now that she knows he’s Jack’s son, so this background story for Eve is very misleading right now.
think of that, which is a strong possibility and the one I hope it is. Thank you for for expressing it. Oh, and I’m sure Eve just needs to settle into the part, so I will lay off from critiques about her for the time being. Thank you for your confidence in her. Good job!
and will get even better in the role. I thoroughly enjoyed her and Jennifer today, and loved that Jen gave back as good as she got. I also loved the way the writers finally brought some old history into their scenes, like how Jack only married Eve to get her inheritance from Nick Corelli, and their marriage was quickly annulled. I thought both actresses really brought it today.

Also it seemed from today Jack is off the hook for being possibly Paige’s father.I don’t think Jack’s Paige’s father, but I wouldn’t put it past Eve to somehow make Jennifer think he possibly could be. She’s out for Jen’s blood, that’s for sure — and by blood, I mean ‘blood’ money.
Also, I did notice a mistake. Jack and Eve’s marriage was annulled, and the attorney-of-record was Mickey Horton, so if that agreement had any lawyer’s name on it, it should be Mickey’s. Jen said she’s going to call her (Eve’s) lawyer, and Eve pointed out that the lawyer’s name was right there on the papers, so that’s a big faux pas, so maybe she had a fake document drawn up. Should be an easy way for Jennifer to find out. Maybe Jen needs to take another trip to the Horton attic and go through Mickey’s files. LOL!
After Eve told Paige they hadn’t “done it,” that kind of let’s Jack off the hook. Too bad though, that would have made an interesting storyline. But then, like Patti suggests, Eve just may lead them to believe he is. That could also be very interesting.
