I think something was said about Dario not having to get married to stay in this country and all he had to do was resubmit some paper work, but he wanted to go ahead with the wedding.
it was just a simple matter of paperwork and he could stay. Dumbo thinks he will make Abby fall in love with him via marriage. Who knows, rollercoaster Abby could make herself believe it until she discovers the truth.
