The one returning is Matt Ashford, who posted on his Facebook that he will return to Days next month in a huge upcoming story. It’s also been confirmed in SOD. Boo-hoo — congrats all you Jack Devereau fans … personally I was hoping for John Black.

DAMN THAT STINKS. did u read anything about the storyline?? Blah I dont like Jack. I wouldnt mind if they brought the specktator(sp??) back.
a rational functioning human being without the ridiculous behavior, I’ll enjoy seeing him again. If he’s the old Jack…I’ll pass.
with Daniel and then Jack comes back to town…(I’ll bet he didn’t get any of the Emails or the divorce papers and doesn’t know a thing – but then I haven’t been watching)…He’ll come back to Salem all (as the saying goes) "fat, dumb and happy" and then DOOL will have their normal triangle again that they are famous for, because Jennifer will have doubts, Daniel won’t want to loose another woman, and Jack thinks all is ok in his world. I’m with you Patti, I wanted John to come back!
rse, it will be to have a trangle. Jen and Dan are involved and poof—Jack shows up. Now Jen is conflicted– her new flame or her husband. Add to the mix Abby–her Dad is back, she can be the new Sami wanting her parents together. This will also free upDaniel for a return to Carly thus making mel so happy.
maybe he will be the one to finally get Carly the help she needs, and then they will rekindle whatever made them attracted to one another in the first place. I like Jen and Dan, but after seeing Jen’s sorrow when she got those final divorce papers from Justin, and then breaking the date with Daniel, it was obvious to me where they were going with this. Jen is still in love with Jack, and even though she would like to move on with Daniel, seeing a return of Jack would make that nearly impossible, especially if Jack has been holed up in some hospital or something, not even knowing anything had happened to Jennifer. Oh, well, the story is supposed to be "big" according to SOD, but you know the media’s meaning of "big" is another boring triangle.
I know that several months ago Drake Hogeystn was most certainly spotted at the studio, and it was reported in one of the soap rags that he definitely had been in talks with TPTB. Unfortunately, guess it didn’t work out for him. Could be he’s better off for it, though, and only we will be the ones worse off.
Isn’t that what happened the last time. Jack was sick and was in a hosptial where he found Patch. He finally comes back to Salem on Jennifer and Frankie’s wedding day.

for Jack to start acting like a mature adult. That off-the-wall goofy stuff was ok when he and Jen were much younger, but that time has long passed. If he must return, please, let him leave the immaturity behind. If it is more of the ‘same old Jack’, I can do without that.

about Jack’s return. He was amusing at times and he and Jen made a nice couple but I’ve never been real crazy about his character. I’d much rather have had John return, with or without Marlena.
I’d give up Taylor, Dario, Abby, and even Chad to have John back.
I have not liked Jennifer and Daniel together at all! In my opinion it was too soon for these two to start up with each other. I have always been a Jack and Jennifer fan so I am very happy that he’s coming back. Now I just have to hope the writers can write a decent story for him.
the writers insist on shoving down our throats and bring back substantial characters that we all know and love. And also give our solid characters good story lines! Good call Bonbon!
