The Little Couple

Boy, I never get tired of watching this show and am always disappointed when it’s over. It is so heartwarming to see these two little (no pun intended) kids warm up to their new parents and start acting like real kids and how Jen and Bill react to them. There must be times when they wonder if they’ve done the right thing in adopting them. Also, they know they are going to be faced with multiple medical issues down the road with not just one dwarf but two.

And then to throw in Jen’s chemotherapy (which is apparently some pretty powerful stuff to have to be hospitalized to get it) on top of all that is reality at it’s finest. I loved the way her oncologist tracked her down in the hospital and told her to get back in bed. As a doctor herself, she should have known better but her dedication to Zoey is so powerful.

It’s so nice to see a reality show that is not pandering to the audience but unfolding in such a natural yet dramatic way. You certainly couldn’t write that stuff.
