Woohooooooo!!!!! Can’t wait!!
December 22, 2011 at 12:13 pm #29827BonbonParticipantI’m getting soooo tired of these reality shows. They are so terribly manipulated that they think their audience must have an accumulated IQ of an earthworm. Heck, even DWTS which had been my favorite show is beginning to get old. Yes, I like to see the costumes, dances, make-up, etc. but they ruin it with their manipulation. Like AI, until they can start showing me how America ACTUALLY votes, I just can’t get excited anymore.
But glad you’re excited, Nora. Don’t let my funky attitude affect you! :o)
I’m looking forward to the return of Merlin (King Uther is going to die and Arthur becomes king!) and Burn Notice (one of my most favorites) in January.
December 22, 2011 at 2:28 pm #29830NoraParticipantI agree with you too bonbon about ALL these reality shows. I only stick to AI And some on food network. I’m glad they gave AI a makeover or I might have actually gave up on it.
I can’t believe that Rissoli and isles season finale is Monday!!! It seems like it just started!!! I really should finish reading ice cold. I got to the part where they crashed and they are searching through that abandonded house.
December 22, 2011 at 3:07 pm #29832BonbonParticipantI think it was only about six episodes.
And can’t believe you haven’t finished Ice Cold yet. I read it practically straight through. I had a hard time relating the characters in the book with the ones on TV though. They just seem to me to be entirely different people. With Rizolli being blond, married, and with a daughter is just so different than what Angie Harmon plays on TV.
For one thing, they’ve never even hinted on TV at Isles being in love with a priest. I read the book right after Ice Cold (can’t remember the name right now) and she is broken up with him but still has feelings.
December 22, 2011 at 3:25 pm #29834PattiParticipantI’m fascinated by those medieval times, you know, "in days of old, when knights were bold," and dragon-slayers and sorcerers, and all that good stuff. LOL!
December 22, 2011 at 4:22 pm #29838NoraParticipantI know, It’s just hard for me to sit down and read a book. i dont know why. I love tess gerritsen too i started reading way before the tv show. I think they did a good job casting, but yes they left out and added some things like the priest. She was involved with someone a while back that she didnt want anyone to know about. I will finish this book before next year! LOL.
December 22, 2011 at 5:47 pm #29841BonbonParticipantShe doesn’t like much (or watch much) on TV but she loves Merlin, Grimm, and OUAT. Escapism? But I love them too.
I was just really surprised to see them writing Uther out of the show but glad Arthur will be allowing magic again. That should make for some good storylines.
