Honestly, Roman stands in a public place with people walking all around him, and he goes over the suspect list with the woman officer(sorry, I forget her name) – what police authority with want names of suspects in a murder to be leaked to the public in such a way? Why don’t the writers have that kind of discussion happen in one of the conference rooms at the Salem P.D.? I don’t see the value of having it out doors in a public place.
if people involved are part of the agency like Roman’s family is they would call in the higher up agency like the State Patrol etc. but then they don’t want to pay for new people.
what is the purpose of bringing in this young cop? I know the SPD’s reasoning is because it involves Roman’s friends and relatives, but what are the writers doing it? That’s got to be instrumental in something coming. Is she on the Dimera payroll?
to guarantee that he was doing his job with no bias until the governor’s office sent someone to do the investigation. That made a tiny bit of sense but what governor – state police/sheriff’s office- wouldn’t be available immediately in a high profile case such as the murder of Stefano Dimera?? My first instint on seeing the lady cop was that she is going to be a semi replacement for Lexi to keep more diversity on the show and possible love interest for Abe or Cameron? just my thoughts
