I know someone else posted it but I had to say it again… WOW – well done writers!!!
As a long time viewer it is wonderful to see how this show has growed and progressed – well done DOOL. As a gay man it’s amazing to see that the show I watched with my Mom as a little boy now reflects who I am as a man. This wedding had me in tears!
Lucas’s speech was spot on – Caroline’s was so moving – and Justin’s was so honest.
The WilSon journey has been so REAL; they didn’t BUMP into each other – they courted each other – had dates – dealt with a few lies and secrets – but it was told in such a REAL way. Unlike other couples on the show (::: cough cough Daniel and Jennifer. ::
I also love how Lucas was honest about how he and Sami handled Will coming out – how Roman (albeit what he said) is still a bit uncomfortable with Will’s sexuality. Caroline’s condition… A bit of humor for Teresa and Sami/Adrienne. Written so well.
I also believe that the tears we saw on the actors were real – and NOT done for the cameras. That is what beautiful writing does for you!!! Writers – PLEASE…. get more of this on screen!!! You can do it – now do it MORE!!!
I could have done w/o seeing Liam today but oh well… one bad thing doesn’t cancel out all the amazing stuff we saw today.

April 4, 2014 at 1:52 am #43307PattiParticipantno drama, no unwanted crashers ruining Will and Sonny’s special day, and yes, exquisitely written and acted by all parties involved. Congrats DOOL….you made soap opera history today. Yes, there have been other gay marriages on soaps, but none compared to this one. So elegant, so moving, and I will remember it always.
April 4, 2014 at 2:07 am #43312shadowParticipantI was tired of all the hoopla of Sonny and Will(by the way, he doesn’t even seem like the real Will), planning the wedding. Not really impressed and hope to not watch another one like it.
April 4, 2014 at 2:16 am #43313TFlo1018ParticipantWe almost always agree Patti And Yea PowerPa2 – It def. won’t last
Oh Shadow… you hateful little person you. I feel for ya – you must have a sad little life. You hated the wedding… you hated Sonny and Will in bed. Hate Hate Hate. So sad – so very sad!!!
April 4, 2014 at 2:35 am #43314majencoParticipantI agree about the wedding. It was the best acting and writing I have seen in a long long time. I really hope they keep it up. If they did then maybe soaps wouldn’t be a dying genre.
April 4, 2014 at 2:58 am #43315justwonderingParticipantMy favorite part was Caroline’s speech because everyone thought she was rambling on and not making any sense when she was spot on with her story. It also helps to explain someone’s complaint that being a strong Catholic wouldn’t allow her to approve of this wedding.
It was so nice to see everyone come together to make WilSon’s day perfect! It was also nice to see Will talk with Kate to make sure she didn’t feel left out. It was definitely well done.
@Shadow, I feel that there was just enough drama. Most weddings are planned for almost a year and there is a lot of drama. I think they did a great job without going overboard.
April 4, 2014 at 5:55 am #43317jessad7Participantas well. My only complaint was that it almost seemed rushed, I would have liked them to spend a bit more time on the wedding. It would have been nice to see them talk to the guests just a little bit more. Plus, everyone is talking about the clothes, but I felt like I hardly got a chance to see them, much less remember them. I don’t remember Kayla at all! We did have a big Obama healthcare interruption during Days a couple days ago, so maybe that’s why I feel like it was rushed. It was just so nice to see everyone so happy for once, I would have liked it to be a bit longer.
April 4, 2014 at 1:10 pm #43326MKParticipantI didn’t get to see this episode (or the one before) as they were showing a Boston firefighter’s funeral (two firefighters died last week in a fire in a Boston apartment bldg–very tragic). Normally I wouldn’t care to watch the missed episodes but I want to see the wedding! I know people have mentioned it before about being able to see episodes online. Are they on NBC website?
April 4, 2014 at 1:57 pm #43328shadowParticipantjust fine and I was trying not to use the hateful words. I know what your life is about and I tried not to say things that I know you would not like.
Get this – I am not a hateful little person!!!
April 4, 2014 at 3:39 pm #43334PattiParticipantApril 4, 2014 at 4:38 pm #43335MKParticipantExcellent, Thank you. I just went there and Thursday’s wasn’t listed yet but I’m sure by tomorrow it will be.
April 4, 2014 at 11:31 pm #43340PattiParticipantthe next day after they are shown on TV.
April 5, 2014 at 3:30 am #43344TFlo1018ParticipantYour nauseous comment about Will and Sonny in bed COMBINED with your comment about the wedding is more than enough Shadow.
Please – crawl back under the rock you came out of. Thanks.
April 5, 2014 at 2:18 pm #43346justwonderingParticipantIn this forum, ever poster has their favorites and non favorites. While it is obvious that Sahdow is not a WilSon fan, she is entitled to state her opinion without being criticized.
I realize that this story is close to your heart, but you do not need to be rude.
You are never hesitant to speak you mind and often get testy and sarcastic when others do not share your opinion. I feel that you should repect the rights of others to speak their minds. You certainly have the right to respoind, but you need not get nasty or personal with your comments.
Shadow stated she didn’t like the hoopla or the wedding. She has the right to state that. She was not mean or hateful. You should be the same.
