She has the face of an angel…and a soul that would scare the hell out of Satan himself. There’s no greater suds joy these days than watching Jen Lilley tear up NBC DOOL as Theresa Donovan, a coke-snorting, booze-swilling, impossibly belligerent witchlet who exists solely to make humanity miserable. And damn, is she funny. The Days writers clearly adore Lilley, handing her all the best smart-ass lines, which she delivers with sex-kitten perfection. Toss in her jaw-dropping beauty, and you have one unbeatable package. Frankly, we’re torn. We don’t ever want to imagine Salem without Theresa stirring things up but can’t wait to see what happens when primetime finally gets ahold of her. This we know for sure: Whatever Days is paying her, it’s not enough.
Where are all these great lines the writers are giving her? Haven’t heard a one. She’s pretty, but jaw dropping? Nope.
Theresa seems to me like a one-trick pony. All I’ve seen her do is the booze act and look guilty when she gets caught. I have yet to see her in a different style, in order to see how she does. Right now, I don’t particularly like her with Brady, either.
and I have not been able to figure out why. The character of Theresa Donovan is a mess, a gold-digger, and as every bit as dangerous as the criminal she is now trying to cover her a$$ for, and I could care less if Theresa was killed off, never to return to Salem…. that’s how much I dislike this character. As for the actress, Jen Lilley, she’s okay but I would never describe her as “drop dead gorgeous” — pretty, sure; lovely complexion, absolutely; but no more than any other actress on this show. No one tops AZ in the looks department, IMHO. Hell, I think Deidre Hall is drop dead gorgeous, and she’s in her 60’s, as well as Lauren Koslow. Who in the hell wrote this ridiculous article, someone related to JL perhaps????
