Noooo…! I really liked him with Melanie! I don’t know what they’re gonna do with Melanie now. I hope she doesn’t go back to Philip.
he gave the writers an ultimatum, use him in more storylines or write him out, they chose the latter, so I’m thinking they won’t recast him.
It’s like what they did with Arianna, build her up with EJ, only to kill her off.
He was not my favorite character. He was a good actor, but incredibly boring. They never gave him a good SL to do. His best acting was when they were sick in the hospital. Hope he gets a better part somewhere else.
they keep bringing in Hortons (which is sorely needed) and then dumping them. We need more Hortons to keep this core family alive.
I wasn’t super crazy over Nathan but I did like him and hate to see him leave. I hope they do recast the character.

I hope they don’t replace him – I wanna see Stephanie go down in flames. I wish they’d written both the characters off the show – let them go to Boston, never to return. And Nathan was sooooooooooo bland. I hope the actor does get a better show somewhere else too. As well as the actress who plays Stephanie.

and I told him I thought it was a shame that they had paired him with Stephanie in this endlessly boring SL that made him look like a fool. He agreed and said he had been talking with the powers that be about it. I would be much happier if he stayed and they sent Stephanie packing – they have totally ruined her character! Remember when she first came back as a race car driver? I liked the original actress much better – the one with red hair… at that time at least Stephaine had some spunk – made much more sense as Kayla and Steve’s daughter. It’s like they don’t know what to do with her – college, rape, endless boyfriends including Philip. Puleeeez!! Pull the plug already!
show that long (from what I recall), she had so much more promise for a story line. This one…ICK! Been ICK forever! I FF’d through the college, and Ford, Phillip, all since time immortal – how long has it been since she’s been on…??? Much toooooooooooo long for sure. No story line that they put her in is interesting or watchable for me, I’m sure it’s not the actress, just the character.
I thought he was a good actor, he just had shit to act with They didnt give him anything. except when they were sick and dying. and probably the scenes coming up on him blowing up on Stephanie for knowing. I cant wait for that!!!!! gonna be good! I agree with him too, they should get rid of STephanie send her to Africa with her mom to find herself. leave her there for all I care. I’d rather they keep Nathan just give the poor kid a meaty SL. Good Luck to him though I hope he finds something better for him.

Mark Hapka has much more potential in developing Dr. Nathan Horton than Stephanie could ever be developed. She is useless. Nathan could become an important part of the hospital staff, but Stephanie is just a pathetic loser the way she is written now. Maybe she can go away and come back later as a strong, independent woman with a purpose in life other than snagging a doctor husband.

I like Stephanie and I think the actress (Shelly?) does a good job with the drivel she’s given to work with. Oh, well…
I too thought she had a lot more spunk and more potential for story lines. The latest Stephanie is nothing like her dad or mom and acts like she is ready to develop a multiple personality (please, no!). She is so needy; I could believe a total mental break when Nathan leaves her. Writers: this might be a good time for Stephanie to grab her boot straps and pull herself to her feet again. A return to the spunky Stephanie would be very much welcomed by the fans.
