As soon as Days showed sunset I knew – ala the Lexie ending – this would be Bo’s final day. From the plentiful flashbacks to the pair’s theme song (wasn’t this the one by PR’s wife?) to the touching and respectful passing, a fitting finale to Day’s longtime supercouple.
I also thought it a nice parallel to show Steve and Kayla growing closer while Hope and Bo were parting.
If KA had issues w/PR offscreen, it was certainly not apparent in their scenes. Good performances all around.Peter Reckell’s wife, and she specifically wrote it for Bo and Hope.
I loved that the entire show today was composed of 6 actors, each heartfelt in their own way, but PR and KA should both be best actor Emmy noms next season, with MBE and SN and perhaps even PMc nominated in the supporting actor role. That’s how fabulous they all were to me.
has blown me away. She’s crying like she’s truly losing a brother. I don’t doubt that was somewhat real. Stephen Nichols is also delivering these scenes perfectly.
I just wish Shawn D was with Ciara and Caroline.
Shawn D seems to be kind of just hanging out, not much with the family. Must be more scenes coming for him with Belle on the way.
he did an interview about the how, why, when, what, etc., of Bo’s death, and I specifically remember that he said something about "passing the mantle on to Ciara," so it doesn’t surprise me that Shawn D. wasn’t included in Ciara and Caroline’s scenes. I noticed that Ciara was the ‘dominant’ child figure in Bo’s return, and I think it was very noticeable by the fans. Why? We’ll I suppose we’ll see why next week when Belle and Claire return. They’ll have their own set of insurmountable problems, besides the death of Bo. We’ll learn why Shawn D. came home without them.
