Did everyone see what I saw? Eric discovered that Hope was burning up with fever so he whisked her off the bed and out of the room. Immediately afterward we saw Hope back on the bed with Eric tucking in the blanket on her.
What was that about or did I miss a transition? Just odd.my speculation is her fever spiked so high, he rushed her out to do something to try and bring the fever down, but what is a mystery. She looked wet….did he put snow on her, or dip her in cool water??? Or did he take her into the bathoom and put her in some cold water? Whatever, it was totally unexplained, not to mention it looked ridiculous! Almost as if they’re back to cutting scenes, which, IMO, is not the way to go with this sl. It just makes the writing look worse than it already is, if that’s even possible.
Unfortunately, we are not going to see the results of the new writers until spring, so for now we are still putting up with Higley’s mess.
He said something about dunking her in a lake to bring down her fever. Not recommended to put someone with a wound that has already been infected in a lake with who knows what bacterial contamination. If that doesn’t kill her nothing will. Stupid writting!
I didn’t catch that. Dunking someone as sick as Hope in the dead of winter doesn’t sound helpful to me!
