Is anyone else losing track of the timing or the days on the show?  One of the things I thought the former writers did fairly well, was have a definitive end of a day/start of a new day.  New clothes, talking about morning, or what they would do that afternoon/evening, etc.  With the new writers, I’m struggling.  Rafe closed the night club down, John asked him to keep it open for Marlena and they had their conversation and it was closed up.  Then Paige was at the Pub and someone else was at TBD.  Maggie woke up and Victor was gone to see Caroline at the hospital. One of the conversations with Will ended one episode in daylight and started/repeated at the beginning of the next episode in the dark.  It’s very frustrating and confusing to me.  Isn’t this the same writer that wrote the death of Zack?  I remember between his death and funeral it was something like two months that passed in real time, but was only a day or two on the show. I hope this is a temporary problem.

this is the result of the writers transition. There have been times it too has bugged me but because of the new SLs starting and the increased pace of the show I have not noticed it.

had a conversation going on in daylight, they’d cut to a commercial and come back to the same scene but it was dark out. I never could understand the thinking on that. What was the purpose? So, no, it’s not just the new writers, the old ones did the same thing. And dragging out a storyline is commonplace for soaps.
