I knew it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
August 21, 2012 at 9:26 pm #35115caseyParticipantyou’re referring to that surprise ending that EJ Is really a Dimera?
It never did sound like something Alice Horton would do – made no sense at all. But of course, we don’t know if that’s a change by the new writers.
Does this mean Bo and Hope’s marriage is still legit?August 21, 2012 at 10:43 pm #35118PattiParticipantor was Stefano wearing a "Hannibal Lecter" mask? I swear, that scene just made me laugh out loud. And are we not going to have an explanation of why he was pronounced dead by the coroner at the mansion? I guess Ian shot him with a bullet dipped in something that would make him appear dead; nevermind the fact that the bullet supposedly went through the back of the chair, entered his back, piercing his heart, and exiting through his chest.
August 22, 2012 at 12:46 am #35120dvalParticipantthe dead person was Paulo, a twin to Stefano that he had searched the world over to find? Or some grandiose line like that?
August 22, 2012 at 1:55 am #35121PattiParticipantand thinking ‘who in the world is Paulo’, but I don’t recall him saying he was a twin of Stefano’s. That would at least make sense, but I recall suspecting Stefano may have had a twin. He is supposed to be a 7th son, isn’t he?
August 22, 2012 at 5:28 am #35124DeeLanParticipantI thought he said Paulo, was a perfect match he found. That doesn’t necessarily mean he was his biological twin.
August 22, 2012 at 9:42 am #35128BonbonParticipantI don’t think Paulo was any relationship to Stefano, just someone Ian had found that looked like him. But that is pretty far-fetched considering the conversations he had with so many of them.
The thing I have trouble with is that supposedly the Salem PD positively identified the body. That would make for one incredibly stupid coroner.
But then, this isn’t the first, by any means, riduculous situation we’ve been forced to swallow.
August 22, 2012 at 12:06 pm #35132ladyofherbsParticipantNo I was referring to the fact that Stephano never really dies. Now Ian is talking about Santo raising him? Or was I still in shock?
August 22, 2012 at 12:48 pm #35133PattiParticipantif it’s the intent of the writers to have us believe that the guy in Stefano’s chair at the mansion, talking to everyone who was coming and going that night turns out to be just "somebody Ian found who looked like him" would really be starting their writing out on the wrong foot. As a matter of fact, that would be incredulous, not to mention preposterous.
August 22, 2012 at 1:21 pm #35139luckeyParticipantwhen he sarcastically made mention to EJ about EJ knowing something about putting someone in another’s place to confuse everyone. Of course, it was ignored…but I thought it was funny!
August 22, 2012 at 1:51 pm #35144dvalParticipantthat’s what I thought "twin" in the sense that everyone has a twin out there somewhere was what Ian meant, not a biological twin.
August 22, 2012 at 3:19 pm #35152DeeLanParticipantWe don’t know when Stefano was kidnapped and if the person everyone talked to was the real Stefano or the lookalike. Also, didn’t Ian say he switched blood tests? Was he referring to EJ’s or Stefano’s so they would positively identify him. Another thing, when someone dies they don’t do a blood test or DNA test to proove who it is unless nobody can identify him/her from physically looking at them. Everyone knows what Stefano looked like so they might not have looked any further than his face.
August 22, 2012 at 4:20 pm #35156BonbonParticipantdone because of the circumstance under which he died. I don’t know what all they look for but they do a lot of testing…enough to know whether or not that was Stefano. Just another loose end we are not supposed to question.
I sometimes wonder if the writers sit around and ask, "Do you think the viewers will accept this?" And someone else will say, "Naw, but let’s do it anyway."
August 22, 2012 at 8:12 pm #35158DeeLanParticipantWhen I was in school we had to sit through many autopsys. Autopsy’s dont’ show who a person was, just how they died or any diseases/conditions they had. The only tests they do on the blood is toxicology.
